Bike! Plants! 9.1.18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Studied Spanish and Swahili this morning.  I&#8217;m at nearly the end of the Swahili Duolingo course for the first level and I&#8217;m practicing past tense in Spanish.  Both sections are difficult.  I feel like I&#8217;m learning!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-mCGR6Tt\/0\/db9df5f2\/M\/2018090121290572-IMG_7988-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-jNT9zMX\/0\/b6d3625c\/M\/2018090121290572-IMG_7990-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe road guys left our main corridor in a mess.  Who knows when it will be repaired.  Certainly not this weekend!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-vQ3cvvh\/0\/32e868bb\/M\/2018090121290572-7522826864_IMG_6330-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Went for a Personal Record in my bike riding with a total of 37.38 miles! Wow!  Astonishingly, I still wasn&#8217;t all that worn out.  Not anything like the running days when I could barely climb the steps after a long run. Great work out taking exactly 4.00 hours!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-G268q4J\/0\/475fa5fd\/M\/2018090121290572-IMG_7992-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI did all three of my routes: Lucern, Garner and Evergreen.<br \/>\nI can tell when it hasn&#8217;t rained in a while, because the Yellow River gets really clear.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-j9VS5tC\/0\/a607e90a\/M\/2018090121290572-7585770368_IMG_6331-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cacti blooming!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-TTSshRJ\/0\/53a17d33\/M\/2018090121290572-7585790576_IMG_6332-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI liked how these branches were twisting around.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Bike--9-1-18-Plants-\/i-bzKkb54\/0\/5dc2914c\/M\/2018090121290572-7522809344_IMG_6333-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI burned 1,744 calories in my ride, so I went to QT and had an ice cream cone to celebrate.  Gassed up my car while I was there. The sign on the street said 2.55.
