Carl! Mission! 11.15.18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Studied Spanish this morning.  Listened to Cadena SER which is the national radio station in Spain for an hour.  My comprehension continues to escalate.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-MxZd73g\/0\/a63ce0ca\/M\/2018111521293114-IMG_0378-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI build vocabulary by writing down words I don&#8217;t know.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-cmgMZG8\/0\/2d20deff\/M\/2018111521293114-IMG_0380-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThis morning Brexit was big in the news.<br \/>\nMy usual grammar study is with Duolingo.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-697fLXM\/0\/6b5817c9\/M\/2018111521293114-IMG_0381-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nI used to be very systematic with it.  Now I bounce around a little bit more by subject.  Maybe present perfect, perhaps subjunctive, or past tense.<br \/>\nKeep pushing forward.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-bdSZgSg\/0\/7bd538d3\/M\/2018111521293114-IMG_0384-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I had lunch with my good friend Carl Barrington and his mom Joyce today.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-T3kzQq6\/1\/fad55501\/M\/2018111521120690-10794379824_IMG_7729-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nWent by Lowes to pick up a new toilet seat for him.  Fills me with joy to help people, especially dear friends.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-WhMKNc9\/0\/747c4abc\/M\/2018111521120690-10795069344_IMG_7728-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nWent to the mission after our time together.  I usually send Ashley a map to give her a feeling for when I&#8217;ll arrive.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-DRSn8HB\/0\/8f5b5ae3\/M\/2018111521120690-IMG_0386-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I listened to more Spanish radio on the way over and on the way home after the mission.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-MvH79Z2\/0\/bec809fd\/M\/2018111521120690-IMG_0387-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThey were using this word a lot in regards to Brexit AND Spanish soccer.<br \/>\nWent by FBC Doraville on the way to the mission to check the mail and to tell Renee, our church secretary, that I was sorry her mama had died.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-kbNxmGG\/0\/41e3411f\/M\/2018111521120690-10794879472_IMG_7731-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe mission has been closed this week because of cold, rainy weather.  No kids are allowed out in it by their moms.<br \/>\nAshley put a sign by the door, plus they see my car.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-657H3ZN\/0\/2823cddc\/M\/2018111521120690-10795049600_IMG_7732-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nLOVE my girls!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-bVprRGN\/0\/883dd032\/M\/2018111521120690-10795035952_IMG_7733-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-ZbZMLFX\/0\/4fc093f0\/M\/2018111521120690-10794857456_IMG_7735-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nWe had a couple of kids brave the cold. Nice to spend a little extra time with them.<br \/>\nStitched up a weak spot in one of my gloves when I got home.  Proactive!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-11-15-18-Carl-\/i-pKXKNJv\/0\/42ef8b97\/M\/2018111521120690-10794249280_IMG_7739-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nAlthough I am currently on a Facebook Fast, I decided to at least post my two podcasts each week.  I don&#8217;t read anything, just post.  One on Tuesday, one on Fridays.
