They say it was built in 1935 and was one of the first constructed in the area.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Chattanooga-Tennessee\/Alpine-Lodge-Lookout-Valley\/IMG2653\/720745015_wNdFR-S.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We had fun there.  Good, relaxing time.  I sure did need that. <\/p>\n<p>spent a day hiking through the Reflection Riding Arboretum<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Chattanooga-Tennessee\/Alpine-Lodge-Lookout-Valley\/IMG2763\/720758976_pmhma-S.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Chattanooga-Tennessee\/Alpine-Lodge-Lookout-Valley\/IMG2804\/720766423_mU43q-S.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Chattanooga-Tennessee\/Alpine-Lodge-Lookout-Valley\/IMG2808\/720766982_xvGoc-S.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Saw some unusual things.
