I went over 25,000 points in Duolingo today. He\u2019s always hilarious.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Super-moon--Groceries--Bike-cras\/i-Z8qVbNw\/0\/b69c566c\/M\/2020040822112104-2615630480802504862-IMG_5478-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also talked with my Mom in Texas. <\/p>\n<p>I went for a 12 mile bike ride today.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Super-moon--Groceries--Bike-cras\/i-JR5BLZ9\/0\/0d7aee0e\/M\/2020040822330218--3570615044445723665-IMG_5497-M.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, when I got to little past mile nine I had a bad crash. Today is trash day and they had left big trash bins on the sidewalk. I was going around one of the trash bins and my bike tire got caught between the sidewalk and the grass. Next thing I knew I was flying through the air and landed on my face. That\u2019s never a good strategy.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Super-moon--Groceries--Bike-cras\/i-wbQp2qm\/0\/1711d675\/M\/2020040822112104--6619989060788239557-IMG_5481_heic-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, I had my helmet on but I hit the ground so hard it still bruised my head. The visor got broken off and scratched my face up. I wrenched my neck when I crashed and cut up my knee as well. Otherwise I\u2019m fine. Thankfully, I landed on the grass and not on some really hard surface. Otherwise, I probably would\u2019ve wound up with a concussion. It was a tremendous crash that\u2019s for sure. The worst I\u2019ve ever had. I can tell exactly where it happened because the impact made Runkeeper stop!<\/p>\n<p>I made it home fine.
