We&#8217;ve really missed our time with Penelope, although we have fun with her every afternoon after school!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-W9LrNZg\/0\/641dd9db\/L\/IMG_3137%202-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed taking them to Waffle House.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-qczwmhf\/0\/183a9dcc\/M\/IMG_6530-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They have fun climbing on the rocks outside there.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-6bMvhCK\/0\/74492648\/L\/IMG_6543-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then are so beautiful!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-NT5vXfh\/0\/e8a3e603\/L\/IMG_6561-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-Gvmwr8s\/0\/5d36da52\/L\/IMG_6554-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We saw where someone had crashed into a column at a strip mall we go by.  I had them examine evidence and determine that they thought had happened.  Which way did the car come in?  Where did the car go afterwards?  <\/p>\n<p>I had them look at the tire marks on the curb, tiny bits of brick, scratches on the sidewalk, all to help them put together a picture of what happened.  They are both so bright.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-pZDmc9r\/0\/f380fb9e\/L\/IMG_6562-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-S37q8Xb\/0\/8ef332cb\/L\/IMG_6563-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Being aware is the first step towards real intelligence.  Curiosity, baby!<\/p>\n<p>I saw my S. American parakeets again today.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-bKfWGrX\/0\/d2184d63\/M\/IMG_3138%202-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I deposited checks into my account this morning, and into Whirlwind&#8217;s account this afternoon.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-DP8cqPJ\/0\/c451b412\/M\/IMG_3139%202-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Penelope worked on her &#8220;Teach your monster to read&#8221; game for over two hours today.  She is SO smart!  Everly and I miss having her around all the time a lot.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-3Jbvsn6\/0\/c2d1ed54\/M\/IMG_6566-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-FBCD-10721\/i-tbz73Zm\/0\/0a429437\/M\/IMG_6567-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kathy gave me some money this month. It was such a delight to hear Penelope&#8217;s little feet slapping the floor so quickly.
