They weren&#8217;t getting any direct sunlight where they were.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-BgD33x5\/1\/1fd36f41\/M\/IMG_8754-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nana read stories to Everly and watched old family videos. Everly never did fall asleep.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-bWzrPBG\/0\/36ab3ce3\/L\/IMG_8755-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The girls ended up spending the night with us.  We met up with Penelope, packed their bags and came on back home.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-JMqLZvG\/0\/de1d69a6\/L\/IMG_8757-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Picked up the newsletters.  The church secretary made a special effort to come over and do them for me.  We all pitched in to get the newsletters stuffed into the envelopes.  Everly and I had already put all the labels and inserts together. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-xHxw68T\/0\/a2aa89ab\/L\/IMG_8758-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-XMNPcmt\/0\/67bdfb4b\/L\/IMG_8759-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nana and I collated and folded them and put them into the envelopes.  The girls took the stickers off and sealed the envelopes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-v6wLwFN\/0\/7971f0ff\/L\/IMG_8760-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Got the letters in the mail literally seconds before the mailman emptied the box&#8211;a full hour and a half before the stated pick up time!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Family\/Grandgirls-Nana-Waffle-House-12321\/i-L6hKFpt\/0\/2e25a283\/M\/IMG_3675-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We ate supper at Metro Cafe. We watched some of 14 Peaks.  Terrific show.
