Checked on Mr. Hickey who’s been working at Huntington Terraces.\u00a0 The mission looks great.\u00a0 He finished painting the mission at Glennbrooke in Marietta and almost finished the Terraces.\u00a0 We went over to Northchase where he’ll help paint the mission there for Paul Reynolds.<\/p>\n
Took care of banking deposits and checked on the mail at the office at FBC Doraville.<\/p>\n
Helped the kids with their homework.\u00a0 Most of them have projects due this week.\u00a0 You have to have the patience of Job to get them to do those reports.\u00a0 There’s a fine line between helping them and just doing it for them.<\/p>\n
I had my car worked on this afternoon. The check engine light came on when we were leaving Savannah.\u00a0 They said the computer gave them two codes–one was a battery problem, which they fixed and the light went out.\u00a0 The other code is a transmission problem.\u00a0 As long as the light doesn’t come back on then the code was just the battery cables.\u00a0 If it comes back on could be the transmission.\u00a0 Now doesn’t that sound like something to look forward to?<\/p>\n
I hope you all have mechanics you can trust with your car.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow night I go to Villa Rica for the mission conference at Midway Macedonia Baptist Church.\u00a0 It’ll be about an hour plus one way.\u00a0 Not looking forward to the trip, but I really enjoy the church.\u00a0 I’ll be helping with a couple of block parties with them this Saturday.\u00a0 Excellent!<\/p>\n
