A&#038;J! Azalea!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning I worked on writing and producing my newsletter for this month.  February is a short one, so we have to get an early start!<\/p>\n<p>Had a great lunch with my sweet chilluns!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9968\/1195844275_4CubZ-S.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\nCan&#8217;t get enough of those two!  Kathy was riding her bike the ten miles to Clarkston in lieu of lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Metro Cafe Diner has pieces of cake nearly the size of my head!  (No, I didn&#8217;t eat the whole thing!  That&#8217;s a three day job.)<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9971\/1195844580_MDRpq-S.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jesse is helping me transfer my files from my old (really slow) computer and my new (hot patootie) desk top.  I appreciate having a supergenius for a son!  He built it!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9973\/1195844683_LSvUq-S.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\nI liked this egg!<br \/>\nJ helped me with the kids at Azalea this afternoon.  We were swamped with kids.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9976\/1195845050_4JA4Q-S.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The parents try to help.  Emphasis on &#8220;try.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9979\/1195845424_PWVtN-S.jpg\" alt=\"n\" \/><br \/>\nI took this picture of Rosybel so she could know what color her eyes are.  When you ask the Latino kids for eye color know what they say?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9974\/1195844876_D2nft-S.jpg\" alt=\"r\" \/><br \/>\n&#8220;Black.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They ask me, &#8220;What color are your eyes, Mr. Tim?&#8221;<br \/>\nI tell them, &#8220;Look really closely.  See.  They&#8217;re gold suns in a blue sky.&#8221;  Sounds better than &#8220;Hazel.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I showed the kids my newest toy.  White people head.  It&#8217;s made of styrofoam so I immediately ran it back to the car when the kids acted like they were going to stab it with a pencil.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9975\/1195845077_kDVDF-S.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><br \/>\nNo offense to white people.  They&#8217;d stab anything that sat still long enough.<\/p>\n<p>Barbara helps me teach the other kids reading.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9981\/1195845739_BGpco-S.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Stayed late. Again.  Good thing I love my job!<\/p>\n<p>Enjoyed watching my recordings of House and Castle with K this evening, before diving back into admin duties.<\/p>\n<p>I have a conference at Roswell United Methodist Church tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.  PLUS a group from 12 Stone Church also on Saturday.  <\/p>\n<p>And you wonder why I have little tolerance for people who tell me they&#8217;re &#8220;too busy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s all about desire, baby.<\/p>\n<p>I liked the way this mirror was reflecting.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22211\/IMG9970\/1195844253_vYtvR-S.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><\/p>\n<p>$5\/Gallon gas!??
