{"id":2673,"date":"2011-03-04T23:43:10","date_gmt":"2011-03-05T03:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=2673"},"modified":"2011-03-04T23:44:58","modified_gmt":"2011-03-05T03:44:58","slug":"jeff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=2673","title":{"rendered":"Jeff!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Had fun today with one of my mentors, Jeff Stephens.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Jeff-Stephens\/IMG0200\/1205985274_LAkMJ-S.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\n He&#8217;s the closest person I know to the Mentalist on TV.<\/p>\n<p>I know many of you have read about my interest in brains and neuroscience in particular.  Jeff is on the cutting edge of getting rapid results with people seeking change. I&#8217;m looking forward to spending more time with him this weekend along with other therapists.  What&#8217;s your feeling about the word &#8220;hypnosis?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Self-hypnosis has helped me enormously with stress and learning languages in particular.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s a great Christian brother and his work has helped me have an even more powerful prayer life.  It was fun hearing about his background.  He was even a street preacher at one time.  My kinda guy!<\/p>\n<p>Did some shopping and banking when I got home.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Jeff-Stephens\/IMG0202\/1205985322_Gnw7F-S.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/><br \/>\nSpent a fun evening watching the French film Coco Before Chanel with Kathy.  I love watching foreign movies.  Really helps get my brain into foreign language mode. C&#8217;est formidable!<\/p>\n<p>I was sad to see that our neighbors had decided to move.  They preferred renting and their landlord (my old neighbor) needs to sell it.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Jeff-Stephens\/IMG0201\/1205985326_KtyMa-S.jpg\" alt=\"h\" \/><br \/>\nThe only bright side as that they took their cat with them.  It&#8217;s killed a lot of birds in the neighborhood.  Especially in my back yard!
