I had a great day today!\u00a0 I preached at Sweetwater Church in Lawrenceville.\u00a0 They’re meeting in the Simonton Elementary School.\u00a0 They had a great set up and the music was awesome.\u00a0 Mike Fountain is their music director and Assoc. Pastor.\u00a0 He did a great job leading the worship.\u00a0 Jackie Fenley is the Pastor.\u00a0 He’s helping us with the mission at Greens at Hillcrest in Lawrenceville.\u00a0 He’s one of the very few pastors I’ve ever seen at a mission and he has a real heart of reaching the unchurched.\u00a0 Praise God for Jackie, Mike and his team!<\/p>\n
I did my mission presentation for the church. I did my best!\u00a0 Ann Mitchell, Kathy’s sister, also came with us today.\u00a0 It was great to spend some time with her too.\u00a0 She’s been a huge help in cleaning our stuff at the house.<\/p>\n
I’m supposed to sign the contract to begin rebuilding on Wednesday.\u00a0 Hopefully, that’ll go through fast.\u00a0 Ashley is negotiating with Kathy and I about getting the master bedroom.\u00a0 I’m not for it because I like the bathroom in there, but I usually end up giving the girls their way.<\/p>\n
Just got back from running 4 miles.\u00a0 Felt really good until about the last quarter mile and my left knee started hurting.\u00a0 Next time I run I bet it’ll be completely pain free.\u00a0 Pray for that!<\/p>\n
We get to go see Jesse this evening!\u00a0 I always look forward to that.\u00a0 They’re going to let us take Ashley in with us too.\u00a0 They’re not supposed to let more than 2 people in the room, but the staff is making an exception.\u00a0 Everyone that I’ve met at the Gwinnett Detention Center has been super nice to us.<\/p>\n
