I enjoy getting a bunch of my partners together!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287769945_qQUyC-M.jpg\" alt=\"group shot\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287770276_ipAck-M.jpg\" alt=\"g1\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287770444_XyhbZ-M.jpg\" alt=\"g2\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287770577_oBY8G-M.jpg\" alt=\"g3\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287770861_fV3xG-M.jpg\" alt=\"g4\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I wanted to have a welcoming party for our new partners the Palmers that came into town a couple of days ago.  Yesterday was their first full day of working at Huntington Ridge.  Tim, Cathy and Andrei are adjusting well to their new home.  It&#8217;s a LOT different from their house on the lake!  They&#8217;re surrounded on all sides by apartments filled with folks from Central America!<\/p>\n<p>I took the Palmers along with Bill Hickey from Huntington Terraces, Ashley, Miles and Jesse, Zac Harrison (who&#8217;s been helping Ashley) Keith Harrell (another new partner waiting to be appointed by NAMB) and a perspective new partner Cami Miller who came down from Indiana to meet with us today.  We enjoyed delicious Indian food from Vikhyat prepared by our good friends the Patel family.<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, Bill, Jesse, Andrei, Keith and I went up to Franklin road in Marietta to change the lock on the door at the mission.  We&#8217;d had some issues with one of the keys, so we had to change the lock.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287771037_oFshz-M.jpg\" alt=\"bill\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287771134_JaCbY-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287771474_ic6XN-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Michael Anderson is the director of the mission.  He&#8217;s doing a great job!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/287771784_jPPrH-M.jpg\" alt=\"mike\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also stopped by Best Buy to pick up some software for Keith so he can work on his newsletter.<\/p>\n<p>Then back to Azalea to check on the kids at the mission.  Jesse and I had a good time with Jouvens and Bubba as well as Clinton, Jowan and Angel.<\/p>\n<p>We came on back to Stone Mountain and Jesse and I took a quick bike ride around the big rock.  He&#8217;s a pretty quick biker!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been working on hard drive issues with my computer.  I needed to transfer some material from one drive to another.  Jesse took a look at it and gave me some suggestions as to what I should do.  Sure am glad he&#8217;s around to help!<\/p>\n<p>My folks will be flying in from Austin on Monday!  I&#8217;ve made reservations at our hotel for them.  Sure am looking forward to that!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was excited about today!
