{"id":37,"date":"2007-03-08T19:29:31","date_gmt":"2007-03-09T02:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=37"},"modified":"2007-03-08T19:29:31","modified_gmt":"2007-03-09T02:29:31","slug":"37","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=37","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I met with David Clyde and Scott Sharp from Briarcliff Baptist Church this morning.\u00a0 We went over the service projects that they will be doing with us in Chamblee on April 28th.\u00a0 They&#8217;ll also host Outreach Events in the area.<\/p>\n<p>We went over to Willow Branch to meet with Bennett and most of our Clarkston team went over with us to Cafe Istanbul.\u00a0 Ray Vaughn, Terry Earl, Toni Branyon, Bennett, David and Scott and I enjoyed delicious Turkish food and even better company!<\/p>\n<p>We then went over to Kensington Station to bring over the monitors for the computer lab that Bennett is setting up.<\/p>\n<p>We also visited the our room under the leasing office where we will start our new after school program.\u00a0 Kensington Station is HUGE (nearly 1,200 units) and is probably the neediest complex in the whole county.\u00a0 My prayer is that our team will be up to challenge of reaching this community for Christ.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s very exciting to get my partners together.\u00a0 Man, I get fired up!<\/p>\n<p>Kathy and I are looking forward to getting out of town for a couple of days.<\/p>\n<p>Peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I met with David Clyde and Scott Sharp from Briarcliff Baptist Church this morning.\u00a0 We went over the service projects that they will be doing with us in Chamblee on April 28th.\u00a0 They&#8217;ll also host Outreach Events in the area.
