Walk!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I enjoyed a restful morning.  Thought about our war vets.  Hard to believe we still have war.  Seems like our species would have grown out of that by now.<\/p>\n<p>Although it&#8217;s getting a lot better.<\/p>\n<p>K and I enjoyed a cool movie called Way Out.  It was about these people in a gulag in Siberia who escaped and walked across the Gobi Desert and the Himalayas to India.  Over a 4,000 mile walk.<\/p>\n<p>After all that about a long walk, we went for a 2.25 mile walk around the neighborhood. We took Sugar with us.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Neighborhood-Recon\/i-6frxrB4\/0\/S\/IMG5342-S.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Neighborhood-Recon\/i-TZPRRwj\/0\/S\/IMG5341-S.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our neighbors built a long slip and slide.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Neighborhood-Recon\/i-p35rhm4\/0\/S\/IMG5339-S.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I noticed a hummingbird nest had fallen to the ground.  I&#8217;ve heard about them using lichens, but had never seen it in real life before.  Hope the baby birds are ok!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Neighborhood-Recon\/i-xGg9T8M\/0\/S\/IMG5345-S.jpg\" alt=\"h\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Neighborhood-Recon\/i-DLdcSfL\/0\/S\/IMG5347-S.jpg\" alt=\"l\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I read they use spider web to tie it together.  Amazing.<\/p>\n<p> It was beautiful.
