{"id":423,"date":"2008-07-11T22:57:31","date_gmt":"2008-07-12T02:57:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=423"},"modified":"2008-07-11T23:02:47","modified_gmt":"2008-07-12T03:02:47","slug":"texas-exit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=423","title":{"rendered":"Texas Exit!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had an early morning today!\u00a0 Got up around 6am and took Ashley to the airport.\u00a0 She&#8217;s flying to Austin to spend a couple of weeks with my parents.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329810968_3CTok-M.jpg\" alt=\"ac1\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329810977_ytGzk-M.jpg\" alt=\"axc2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My niece Olivia is getting married tomorrow, which is also my 50th birthday!<\/p>\n<p>Ashley just gets more beautiful every day!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329810981_D6gQh-M.jpg\" alt=\"axc4\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From the airport I went to the North American Mission Board where I did my seminar called the &#8220;5 Levels of Engagement.&#8221;\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329810984_jqoqo-M.jpg\" alt=\"namb1\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329810996_ALShu-M.jpg\" alt=\"n2\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329811041_uaMSo-M.jpg\" alt=\"n3\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329811068_zrWTr-M.jpg\" alt=\"n4\" \/><br \/>\n I talk to the missionary candidates about how to raise up volunteers.  The new missionaries were great!<\/p>\n<p>We had over 1,000 volunteers this week serving in 32 locations!\u00a0 Today I also worked with FBC Venice, FL.\u00a0 We hosted a block party at Huntington Station.\u00a0 It was also the opening of their pool.\u00a0 The team was very enthusiastic and they really helped the kids have a great time!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329811126_NmaD2-M.jpg\" alt=\"fl1\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329811156_95TTf-M.jpg\" alt=\"fl2\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/329811294_f4N3p-M.jpg\" alt=\"fl4\" \/><br \/>\nToday we started moving back into our house!\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t seem real.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve been out of our house since February 19th&#8211;over four months now.\u00a0 We still need to get the beds squared away.\u00a0 Those were all destroyed in the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Love you guys!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had an early morning today!\u00a0 Got up around 6am and took Ashley to the airport.\u00a0 She&#8217;s flying to Austin to spend a couple of weeks with my parents.
