Mission!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ashley and I had a fun time with Mark Burchek and Tim Swanson from Briarcliff Baptist Church today!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-JDTLQT2\/0\/M\/IMG_0187-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-fcntD4K\/0\/M\/IMG_0188-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><br \/>\nWe had a good time talking about the history of their church and the future of where the congregation is going! The delicious Ethiopian food was also great!  I wondered what happened to their sink in the bathroom.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-bwnrXRJ\/0\/M\/IMG_0185-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I love living in a place that has letters in Amharic on the wall.  Groovy!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-3sRdtvK\/0\/M\/IMG_0186-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ashley and I went to our office to work on getting the newsletters folded and ready to put in the mail.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-3fWmvDT\/0\/M\/IMG_0190-M.jpg\" alt=\"l\" \/><br \/>\nI took them over to the Post Office to give Ashley quiet time to work on the new TeamWhirlwind.com site!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-fW9jT2f\/0\/M\/IMG_0191-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\nI took thirty minutes to wander around one of the antique stores in Chamblee&#8212;which is known for antiques and internationals! Remember card catalogs from the library?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-Pkwrq6d\/0\/M\/IMG_0205-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I went back to the office and spent time editing the text and giving suggestions on where I think it should go.  At the same time, I don&#8217;t want to be TOO overbearing on what I think.  I prefer to have Ashley&#8217;s input too, because she&#8217;s AWESOME, baby!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-VgwvwQK\/0\/M\/IMG_0206-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We went to the mission to help with the kids.  Always fun and rewarding.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-Bz69w8b\/0\/M\/IMG_0210-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-DpztZ8h\/0\/M\/IMG_0211-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-RTp5BMc\/0\/M\/IMG_0218-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s Thursday so we had our Story Time.  I talked about Abraham, Esau and Jacob today.  I made it fun and interesting, so the kids seemed to like it.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-rPFSHF6\/0\/M\/IMG_0220-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Miles came to help today too!  We always miss having him around.  The girls went crazy playing with his hair.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-22813\/i-HqHpkSZ\/0\/M\/IMG_0216-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Had a good family supper together.
