The last two days have been super busy!<\/p>\n

Yesterday, I had Ashley and Jesse with me.\u00a0 EXCELLENT! We did a recon of the area near the Gwinnett Place Mall for the Compassion in Action weekend.\u00a0 I set up a new mission at the FALLS.\u00a0 I’m excited about that.\u00a0 Tito’s church has been working over there along with my partners from Apartment Life.<\/p>\n

Also talked to the management at Summer Trees.\u00a0 That place is super fancy.\u00a0 I’m not optimistic about them letting us in, but maybe!<\/p>\n

We went shopping for supplies I needed at Azalea Mission.

\nI cleaned the place while Ashley helped kids with homework and Jesse was teaching them how to play chess.\u00a0 We had fun!\u00a0 Although I sure did clean up some nasty stuff.\u00a0 Man, those kids can get a place dirty!<\/p>\n

This morning I went to the North American Mission Board where I made my presentation to the recently appointed candidates!\u00a0 They’re always a good bunch.

\nI was invited to come share at a conference in Washington DC.\u00a0 We’ll see if that works out.\u00a0 I told them I’m into the field work aspect.\u00a0 I think the hands on approach is best.\u00a0 They like my somewhat irreverant style.<\/p>\n

Talked with my partner Keith Harrell about the car he picked up from one of his supporters.

\nI got Bill Hickey and we drove with Keith to Hapeville to get the title transferred to Whirlwind Missions and then transfer it to Bill.\u00a0 They were super efficient.
\n\"b2\"
\nIt was a year ago this Monday that I first met Bill.\u00a0 He has really been a blessing to me.<\/p>\n

He told me, “I’ve lived my life just grinding along.\u00a0 Now I feel like I’m a part of something, that I’m really helping people.”\u00a0 You certainly do, Bill!<\/p>\n

Waded through about 100 messages this evening.\u00a0 I was too tired to do the computer last night.<\/p>\n

It’s after midnight and I’ve got to do a presentation for the Gwinnett Leadership Institute Saturday morning.\u00a0 I’m talking about Communication.\u00a0 I’m going to focus on how to\u00a0 achieve rapport with people and teach them how to do that better.<\/p>\n

The seminar is held at the Gwinnett Detention Center. Sure am glad J is out of that place!\u00a0 He is doing great!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
