{"id":482,"date":"2008-10-01T15:12:26","date_gmt":"2008-10-01T19:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=482"},"modified":"2008-10-01T15:38:35","modified_gmt":"2008-10-01T19:38:35","slug":"uncle-harold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=482","title":{"rendered":"Uncle Harold!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of my favorite people on the planet is in Atlanta!\u00a0 Cathy Palmer&#8217;s dad Harold Cummins came to visit and see how their missionary work is going.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/384569299_FtxDk-M.jpg\" alt=\"h\" \/><br \/>\nIt was great to spend time with him and his wife Phyllis and talk about the good ol&#8217; days in Kenya as well as the great ol&#8217; days NOW!<\/p>\n<p>We ate at the Dekalb Farmer&#8217;s Market.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/384569239_Gwy73-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/384569270_pPrBv-M.jpg\" alt=\"fm\" \/><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s always interesting to see the huge variety of vegetables and fruits from all over the world.\u00a0 Of course the best part is speaking with the international population.\u00a0 It&#8217;s alway fun to bring guests to see our work and our city!\u00a0 They&#8217;re always so amazed by it all.<\/p>\n<p>Even for someone like me who was raised over seas, it&#8217;s still pretty incredible.<\/p>\n<p>Biggest news is I got gas!<\/p>\n<p>No bean jokes.<\/p>\n<p>So my car is filled up.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be heading into Chamblee tomorrow to check on the kids at the mission and make sure everything is running smoothly.\u00a0 That&#8217;s great!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my favorite people on the planet is in Atlanta!\u00a0 Cathy Palmer&#8217;s dad Harold Cummins came to visit and see how their missionary work is going.
