{"id":485,"date":"2008-10-04T19:11:28","date_gmt":"2008-10-04T23:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=485"},"modified":"2008-10-04T19:13:27","modified_gmt":"2008-10-04T23:13:27","slug":"compassion-in-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=485","title":{"rendered":"Compassion In Action!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a fantastic day today working with 12 Stone&#8211;one of my favorite churches!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386423297_3N49P-M.jpg\" alt=\"1\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386423480_bMf7J-M.jpg\" alt=\"2\" \/><br \/>\nToday, all around Atlanta, people are giving back to their communities.\u00a0 I&#8217;m glad that our churches are playing a major role in that!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386423758_hKzQ3-M.jpg\" alt=\"3\" \/><br \/>\nIt was a beautiful morning to travel to Lawrenceville where 12 Stone&#8217;s church is located.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386422738_hHoL9-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nAfter a prayer and worship time, the congregation covered over 60 projects.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386423167_EFw2D-M.jpg\" alt=\"12\" \/><br \/>\nWe hosted 5 block parties and a construction site with Whirlwind Missions.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386422983_w6H8d-M.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><br \/>\nWe had a terrific time interacting with the folks at the Falls, one of our newest missions.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386424706_Gm7Li-M.jpg\" alt=\"4\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386425192_vCDs6-M.jpg\" alt=\"5\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386426159_zRzj9-M.jpg\" alt=\"6\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386426723_4887Y-M.jpg\" alt=\"7\" \/><br \/>\nThe time was made even better because my brother Pastor Tito Ruiz brought a group from his congregation at Stone Mill Church.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386425139_tpnS4-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/386426667_sP3iQ-M.jpg\" alt=\"7\" \/><br \/>\nIt was great to see him again and help reach out into the Falls community!<br \/>\nI&#8217;m looking forward to hosting TEN block parties tomorrow with my partners at Perimeter Church!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had a fantastic day today working with 12 Stone&#8211;one of my favorite churches!
