{"id":486,"date":"2008-10-05T16:45:48","date_gmt":"2008-10-05T20:45:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=486"},"modified":"2008-10-05T16:58:55","modified_gmt":"2008-10-05T20:58:55","slug":"perimeter-at-sturbridge-square","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=486","title":{"rendered":"Perimeter at Sturbridge Square!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a great day!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387263498_hrkaU-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\nPerimeter has been such an important part of our work in Atlanta and today they showed their true colors once again!<\/p>\n<p>We had well over 500 people participate in about 50 projects around Atlanta.\u00a0 Whirlwind Missions hosted ten block parties with them today.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387263827_2Cqrk-M.jpg\" alt=\"p2\" \/><br \/>\nI had a chance to greet people at church and then do a short training session on how to get people rounded up to come to the event as well as how to do balloon animals.\u00a0 That&#8217;s always fun!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387264144_J2fEZ-M.jpg\" alt=\"p2\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387264280_55nUT-M.jpg\" alt=\"p4\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387264329_baQBL-M.jpg\" alt=\"p5\" \/><br \/>\nI spent the entire afternoon at Sturbridge Square which is one of our new mission points!\u00a0 The manager was very friendly to me and offered us the entire upstairs area to do an after school program.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a huge amount of space.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve very excited to work on getting a team to come help us there.\u00a0 Please pray for that.<\/p>\n<p>We rounded up over 50 kids and their parents.\u00a0 There were probably at least 100 people that came to the event!\u00a0 That&#8217;s awesome, especially since it was the first time we&#8217;d ever done anything there.\u00a0 PTL.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387264870_gtDC8-M.jpg\" alt=\"p6\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387265486_ckuQE-M.jpg\" alt=\"p7\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/387266317_g5EdC-M.jpg\" alt=\"p8\" \/><br \/>\nI led a young man named Drexel Davis to the Lord!\u00a0 I watched three others accept Christ today.\u00a0 Amen!
