I really had a wonderful time, although I&#8217;m tired out! In four days I walked over 52 miles! YOW!<br \/>\n The hostel I stayed out was in a good location, but I never really slept well. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-t4rX3k2\/0\/M\/IMG_3097-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><\/p>\n<p> I toured a lot of my favorite things! These included the Museum of Modern Art, the 9\/11 memorial, the Guggenheim, the Empire State Building (all the way to the 102nd floor!), St. Patrick and St. Bartholomew&#8217;s Cathedrals, Grand Central Terminal, the NY Public library, Rockefeller Center, the Marx Brothers home, and the Trinity Chapel. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-RSvWMWw\/0\/M\/IMG_3114-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-sqXvxHk\/0\/M\/IMG_3144-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-2gsc78L\/0\/M\/IMG_3138-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-ZnCfQss\/0\/M\/IMG_3177-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-Wrdpzt3\/0\/M\/IMG_3385-M.jpg\" alt=\"90\" \/><br \/>\nAlso really enjoyed seeing some of the best portraits and sculptures of Ben Franklin. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-8RfRL6g\/0\/M\/IMG_3297-M.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-8RfRL6g\/0\/M\/IMG_3297-M.jpg\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-JNXKmHg\/0\/M\/IMG_3301-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\nWent to the Natural History Museum and learned about Theodore Roosevelt, my new favorite president! Visited his childhood home. Also so the Rose Space exhibit, a new show on IMAX on Monarch Butterflies and a butterfly conservatory. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-CCLXcD4\/0\/M\/IMG_3185-M.jpg\" alt=\"tr\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-4rTthrK\/0\/M\/IMG_3203-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-RXF69nV\/0\/M\/IMG_3204-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-LVZMh5D\/0\/M\/IMG_3200-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-jDzwJH9\/0\/M\/IMG_3196-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-KsK2sCG\/0\/M\/IMG_3215-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/> Loved the dinosaurs! <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-tDqRh5k\/0\/M\/IMG_3237-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-x8tpfV7\/0\/M\/IMG_3243-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-MGWfqBp\/0\/M\/IMG_3246-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nI had a historical theme to my trip and visited many of the squares and buildings associate with the Revolutionary War and George Washington in particular. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-8qRDFrn\/0\/M\/IMG_3305-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-rTMRN2L\/0\/M\/IMG_3306-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-9zZ976w\/0\/M\/IMG_3308-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/><br \/>\n Also liked the film and entertainment side of NYC and went to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and to the Film Biz Recycling center for props.<\/p>\n<p>The flowers were amazing! <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-ttpCJD3\/0\/M\/IMG_3264-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-pTpQx6F\/0\/M\/IMG_3272-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-FkBqNLT\/0\/M\/IMG_3399-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/> The main reason I went to NYC for this particular trip was to see Todd Rundgren who played an amazing show! Enjoyed meeting him and had a nice chat after the show. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-3fmtDsk\/0\/M\/IMG_3323-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-M4k2qG4\/0\/M\/IMG_3341-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-ZsvQm5G\/0\/M\/IMG_3344-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Trips\/NYC-59-1313\/i-WpP7QpL\/0\/M\/IMG_3363-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/> Really an amazing trip.
