It’s always such fun to have my son with me!<\/p>\n

Jesse had an appointment with his Doctor today.\u00a0 Dr. Evans was very pleased with Jesse’s progress and told us to come back in three months! It’s been two months since his last visit.\u00a0 Looks promising!\u00a0 We still don’t know when\/if J will have a trial yet.\u00a0 Keep praying for his healing–it’s Working!<\/p>\n

We went to shoot pictures of the two new missions at Highland North and Highland at Sutton Place.

\nThere’s so much work to be done on Buford Highway.<\/p>\n

We’ll be covering these two locations this Saturday with Impact Atlanta and First Baptist Church Atlanta.\u00a0 We’ll host Outreach Events in 25 locations this weekend.<\/p>\n

I bought Jesse an acoustic guitar today.\u00a0 I get great deals on Alvarez guitars at Miller Music in Chamblee.\u00a0 It’s black.\u00a0 Looks like something Johnny Cash would play.<\/p>\n

We went over to Azalea to help the kids with their home work.\u00a0 Writing numbers in expanded form.\u00a0 Know how to do that?\u00a0 Uses powers of 10.

Also got to see Miguel.\u00a0 He’s a known gang banger who is trying to change his ways.\u00a0 He’s like a son to me.\u00a0 He recently graduated from high school with his GED.\u00a0 We gave him a gift card from Walmart to buy some new clothes.\u00a0Doesn’t he look better?

\nHe has to get rid of all his gang colors.\u00a0 Cops still hassle him.\u00a0 No surprise really.\u00a0 Especially if he LOOKS like he’s in a gang.<\/p>\n

Remember Uncle Harold who came to visit me last week?\u00a0 We had such a great time with the Bengali family who lives above our mission at Azalea.\u00a0 I told them I’d see if I could get them a computer.\u00a0 This afternoon we took them one.

\nBill Hickey helped set it up and gave them a lesson on it.<\/p>\n

I was given some baby dolls last week that one of the dear ladies at FBC Doraville made for me. It was fun to see the girl’s faces when they received their gift!

Came home and ran 4 miles.<\/p>\n
