{"id":512,"date":"2008-11-05T23:33:39","date_gmt":"2008-11-06T03:33:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=512"},"modified":"2008-11-05T23:42:32","modified_gmt":"2008-11-06T03:42:32","slug":"world-around-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=512","title":{"rendered":"World around us!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a great time today!<\/p>\n<p>Jesse and I went to Clarkston International Bible Church where I led the music for the Wonderful Wednesday program for the ESOL students at Dekalb Tech.\u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410675025_Zb79k-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410672007_uhcWJ-M.jpg\" alt=\"ww\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410672747_YZR4w-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410672689_YnGLy-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><br \/>\nThere were over 275 people present, the largest crowd ever!<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410673025_xk3no-M.jpg\" alt=\"v\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410672649_AyGUq-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410674548_ML8H4-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nClarkston is an amazing place.\u00a0 Come visit me and I&#8217;ll take you around there.\u00a0 So many countries!<br \/>\nMy partners from the Gideons came and distributed New Testament Bibles to everyone!  It was so cool to see all those Muslim friends eagerly accepting the book of Jesus!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410674632_RB7RB-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410674328_9CrbK-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><br \/>\nWent to my office at FBC Doraville to check on my mail and my plants.\u00a0 Everything was cool.<\/p>\n<p>Then over to Azalea to help Jouvan, Clinton and Mustak with English and Math.\u00a0 Spent a lot of time with Joy, Bengali kid having school problems.\u00a0 He&#8217;s doing better.\u00a0 It&#8217;s hard for him to FOCUS.<\/p>\n<p>First Baptist Atlanta, Dr. Charles Stanley&#8217;s church had their missions conference tonight.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410999738_ssZQW-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410999821_LCcVv-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/411000133_WTY2G-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/411000246_43TWV-M.jpg\" alt=\"v\" \/><br \/>\nI went over with my booth.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll have the rest of the family with me this weekend, I hope.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/411000006_s9znn-M.jpg\" alt=\"v\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/410999917_3tUqv-M.jpg\" alt=\"v\" \/><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s hard work standing there for 5 hours shaking hands and smiling.\u00a0 Sometimes those cheek muscles get mighty sore!<\/p>\n<p>I still really enjoy it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s fun to talk with people.<\/p>\n<p>Got home about 10pm.<\/p>\n<p>Then homework!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had a great time today!
