Bed! Stick Shift!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I can&#8217;t believe how COOL it is here in the ATL!  Believe it or not, my temperature gauge said it was 60 degrees this morning . . . in AUGUST!  Unbelievable!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Driving\/i-zVcX5mw\/0\/M\/IMG_0441-M.jpg\" alt=\"6\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also got more rain.  Another surprise this year.  We actually have an over abundance of rain.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Driving\/i-RmbXV3q\/1\/M\/IMG_0439-M.jpg\" alt=\"r\" \/><br \/>\nI actually wore long pants, shoes and a jacket today!<\/p>\n<p>I helped Jesse move his big mattress to his apartment at Azalea.  He&#8217;s looking forward to sleeping on that!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Driving\/i-5ZdF3Kp\/0\/M\/IMG_0443-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><br \/>\nWe couldn&#8217;t get the box springs in the van.  We&#8217;ll have to wait to we can borrow a pick up.<\/p>\n<p>Came home and got our &#8220;new&#8221; car!  It&#8217;s a 1999 Nissan Altima.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Driving\/i-Mw69Qz9\/0\/M\/IMG_0444-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We had about $1,200 worth of work on it.  Drives great now!<\/p>\n<p>Took Jesse out for about an hour to practice learning how to shift a manual transmission.  He did a good job!  We&#8217;re still building on his knowledge, but getting out of first gear is the hard part!<\/p>\n<p>Then went to Lowes to pick up some duplicate keys for the car.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Driving\/i-9FtJw2b\/0\/M\/IMG_0445-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Came home to blow some bubbles, but it&#8217;s kind of windy.<\/p>\n<p>Admin duties now.
