{"id":527,"date":"2008-11-22T18:04:35","date_gmt":"2008-11-22T22:04:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=527"},"modified":"2008-11-22T18:36:33","modified_gmt":"2008-11-22T22:36:33","slug":"outreach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=527","title":{"rendered":"Outreach!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friday I spent most of my day doing errands.\u00a0<br \/>\nSuper windy day&#8211;and really cold!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422288520_wUwY7-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><br \/>\nMy morning was taken up getting Kathy&#8217;s cell phone replaced.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422288978_Xww2w-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\nGlad she has that working again.<br \/>\nI did enjoy seeing the new James Bond film.  I like the free running stuff better than just long car chases.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422288940_aN8TE-M.jpg\" alt=\"jb\" \/><br \/>\nAshley and I worked on getting the 2009 Calendar for our supporters up and going.\u00a0 I think it looks great!\u00a0 Jesse also helped us laminate the calendars.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422294604_sPTDZ-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422294695_6uGoa-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422294757_jjVgy-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\nThis morning I started out in Clarkston helping my partner Ileko Mugalla with a health fair at Clarkston International Bible Church.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422289324_J2hTX-M.jpg\" alt=\"v\" \/><br \/>\nKathy got to see some of &#8220;her&#8221; babies too!<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422289887_9mtiG-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><br \/>\nWe had a good crowd of people come to get tested for diabetes, blood pressure and HIV.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422289823_7zbgg-M.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422289928_ebdyN-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nI also helped a single mother and her three kids get to a food give away.\u00a0 Unfortunately, they got there very late, so she&#8217;ll have to go back next Monday and see if they have any left.\u00a0 Sure felt sorry for her.\u00a0 I gave her and her little family a ride back to her apartment.\u00a0 Pushing a stroller around in the freezing weather is tough!<\/p>\n<p>This afternoon I spent with my partners from Parkview Church.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422291124_HpeEd-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\n I had a training session with them, then I took them for a little field trip to one of the Mexican grocery stores.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422291639_VozCj-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422291979_W56sA-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then we went over to the mission at Villa Nueva where my partners Keith and Cornelia minister.\u00a0 We had a great time with the kids and we shared the story of Daniel in the Lion&#8217;s Den with the kids.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422294402_Kfi2L-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/422292331_Pqw5D-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nI need to work on posting all the pictures I took as well as going through my email.\u00a0 Mucho trabajo, baby. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday I spent most of my day doing errands.\u00a0 Super windy day&#8211;and really cold!
