Jesse and I flew to Austin, Texas to spend time with our family and speak at one of our favorite churches in Texas, the Worship Place!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Family\/Georgetown-TX-1017-2213\/i-9wHKdPP\/0\/M\/IMG_1915-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\nWe enjoyed hanging out with my parents and my brother Jim&#8217;s family!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Family\/Georgetown-TX-1017-2213\/i-VZV3DDg\/0\/M\/IMG_1936-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Family\/Georgetown-TX-1017-2213\/i-XMr7tmt\/0\/M\/IMG_1935-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I also took a trip to Waco to fellowship with friends from my fraternity at Baylor, the Noble NoZe Brotherhood.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Noble-NoZe-Brotherhood\/ComeHoming-2013\/i-wsCTcSc\/0\/M\/IMG_1961-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Noble-NoZe-Brotherhood\/ComeHoming-2013\/i-KMMfPFH\/0\/M\/IMG_1949-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Noble-NoZe-Brotherhood\/ComeHoming-2013\/i-p9ZXHtP\/0\/M\/IMG_1955-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Noble-NoZe-Brotherhood\/ComeHoming-2013\/i-dbKKNMd\/0\/M\/IMG_1956-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nhttpv:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v8i5dwUgtiY&#038;feature=c4-overview&#038;list=UUjmSUMMhkLn7yjgXo40ip0A<\/p>\n<p> Always a fun time with those guys.<\/p>\n<p>While in Waco I also had the privilege of performing the wedding for a dear friend of mine and his new wife Dan and Mary Smith!  Dan is one of my all time favorite people and I really enjoyed getting to know Mary and her family.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Dan-and-Mary-Smiths-Wedding\/i-P4PV7Tx\/0\/M\/IMG_2020-M.jpg\" alt=\"t5\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Dan-and-Mary-Smiths-Wedding\/i-MH5wrNR\/0\/M\/IMG_2046-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Dan-and-Mary-Smiths-Wedding\/i-KVnJSkj\/1\/M\/IMG_2132-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nWe were all in the NoZe Brotherhood together.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Friends\/Dan-and-Mary-Smiths-Wedding\/i-KrqDVzv\/0\/M\/IMG_2096-M.jpg\" alt=\"n\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Awesome time!<\/p>\n<p>My other main goal in Texas was to work with one of our sponsoring churches, the Worship Place.  The pastor let me share a few minutes in both services about what&#8217;s going on here in Atlanta as well as encouraging more people to come on a mission trip with their team in November.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Family\/Georgetown-TX-1017-2213\/i-MfD7L3r\/0\/M\/IMG_2191-M.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jesse also spoke to the group.  He did a great job.<\/p>\n<p>We also had a birthday party at my parent&#8217;s house for Jesse. It was an easy flight although some of the rough air scared me.  Ever since my near crash in Johannesburg, S. Africa I&#8217;ve never been able to tolerate turbulence when I fly.<\/p>\n<p>We saw two dogs sniffing for bombs in the airport.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Family\/Georgetown-TX-1017-2213\/i-vgmFwcs\/0\/M\/IMG_2273-M.jpg\" alt=\"v\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Stopped at Azalea to check on the kids.  Then on home!  GREAT to be back!<\/p>\n<p>Love these oak trees.
