{"id":570,"date":"2009-01-17T18:22:37","date_gmt":"2009-01-17T22:22:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=570"},"modified":"2009-01-17T18:22:37","modified_gmt":"2009-01-17T22:22:37","slug":"central-baptist-church-douglasville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=570","title":{"rendered":"Central Baptist Church, Douglasville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a fun day today with I think the youngest group I&#8217;ve ever worked with.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456429901_eVhtM-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nThe kids were elementary and middle schoolers from Douglasville.\u00a0 They&#8217;re the same age as the kids they were working with.\u00a0 Seemed to go well!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456431018_Hm8Vj-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nWe worked at Azalea Place, Huntington Terraces and Huntington Creek.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456432435_NSsFK-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nHC is where Ian and Ruthie North are moving into.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456432346_KZrz7-M.jpg\" alt=\"r\" \/><br \/>\n I wanted to have the team there to immediately jump start the North&#8217;s ministry at that location.\u00a0 Ruthie had already made a list of the kids that were there, their brothers and sisters and where they live!\u00a0 Good start!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456432005_WCFVf-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><br \/>\nI met them at the church to do a briefing of the International Village and tell them to:\u00a0 Take the Church, To the People!!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456431206_eFE3W-M.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456431540_mtZY8-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nI took them around the Village to see the Latino and the Asian shopping centers.\u00a0 The kids were goggle eyed by the idols and the different foods.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/456431079_zQJKX-M.jpg\" alt=\"e\" \/><br \/>\nOf course the high point of the day was working with the kids.\u00a0 They seemed to really enjoy themselves.\u00a0 The team was made up almost entirely by girls.
