Microworld!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Merry New Year!  2014&#8212;It&#8217;s got a nice ring to it!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/New-Years-Eve-Stone-Mountain\/i-K7Wf9pD\/1\/M\/IMG_4266-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sadly, my computer is having problems.  The graphics card died.  Getting it worked on now.  Should have it up and running on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Had trouble getting onto my blog.  Password had been changed to protect our site from a mass hacking attempt.<\/p>\n<p>2014 marks the TENTH year I have been doing this blog!  That strikes me as quite incredible.<\/p>\n<p>Had a quiet New Years Eve.  <\/p>\n<p>Wednesday I shopped for supplies for the house and my microscope.  A baster, some small water tight containers and ear dropper.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/New-Years-Eve-Stone-Mountain\/i-WXnTznd\/1\/M\/IMG_4268-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is where I collected the sample from.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/New-Years-Eve-Stone-Mountain\/i-qrcbtfv\/0\/M\/IMG_4271-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hiked up Stone Mountain. This is how it starts. It&#8217;s opened up a whole new world of fascination for me.
