{"id":579,"date":"2009-01-27T00:17:14","date_gmt":"2009-01-27T04:17:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=579"},"modified":"2009-01-27T00:22:50","modified_gmt":"2009-01-27T04:22:50","slug":"christ-church-and-azalea-labels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=579","title":{"rendered":"Christ Church and Azalea Labels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jesse and I had a meeting with new partners from Christ Church of Metro Atlanta along with some of my favorite missionaries.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/462563383_xtJfW-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/462563552_sxqec-M.jpg\" alt=\"c\" \/><br \/>\n I had a great time getting to know Chris Jordan and Jeramy Anderson from Christ Church.\u00a0 They&#8217;re interested in working with internationals.\u00a0 We certainly have plenty of them!<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ll be helping Paul Reynolds at Northchase and Ian and Ruthie North who serve at Huntington Creek.\u00a0 Bill Hickey who leads the work at H. Terraces was also there to show them around.\u00a0 I got the word last night that Bill will be moving back to New Hampshire soon.\u00a0 That&#8217;s a real loss for our ministry!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/462563176_3ZkpD-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\nPaul introduced them to the Northchase property and showed them the clubhouse there.\u00a0 We had a good prayer time blessing the community.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/462563652_4d9Fk-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\nJesse and I then went over to meet with Dr. Argarkhar.\u00a0 The doctor was very impressed with J&#8217;s progress.\u00a0 He seems optimistic that the state will drop the charges against him.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for that! Pray that that will happen.<\/p>\n<p>We met back up with Ian, Ruthie and Bill after the doctor appointment.\u00a0 I took them to the bank so we could give them a love offering so they could get some food.\u00a0 Missionaries gotta eat too!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/462563881_pnYoV-M.jpg\" alt=\"i\" \/><br \/>\nCheck out Ian&#8217;s iguana.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/462563933_dVk3F-M.jpg\" alt=\"i\" \/><br \/>\nThen over to Azalea where we helped the kids with their homework.\u00a0 We spent hours helping Maria in particular with her long division.\u00a0 It&#8217;s hard to divide 29 into 830 when you really don&#8217;t know your times tables.\u00a0 Jesse had the patience of Job to help her. She&#8217;s a really sweet kid.\u00a0 I told her she really has to practice those times tables, cuz it&#8217;s only going to get harder!<\/p>\n<p>The kids also helped us put the labels on our envelopes.
