Started out kind of cold weather this morning.

I had a fun time today at the National Money Show with Carl Barrington.
\n\"m\"
\n\"c\"
\n Lots of interesting things to see and learn about including a family in California that discovered rusty cans full of gold coins on their land while they were walking their dog!
\n\"c\"
\n\"d\"<\/p>\n

One coin alone is worth more than a million dollars!
\n\"m\"
\n\"c\"<\/p>\n

In fact they said there was over a billion dollars represented in the room.
\n\"d\"<\/p>\n

I liked the US Department of Treasury display.
\n\"d\"
\n\"f\"
\n\"2\"<\/p>\n

Ways they made the $100 note harder to forge.
\n\"f\"
\n\"s\"
\n\"d\"<\/p>\n

Theodore Roosevelt is my favorite president. I like his coins.
\n\"r\"
\n\"t\"
\n\"t\"<\/p>\n

I liked this colonial Georgia money.
\n\"s\"
\n\"s\"<\/p>\n

Money was raised to fix up the lighthouse on Tybee Island: one of my favorite places!
\n\"t\"<\/p>\n

Confederate money was from this area.
\n\"d\"<\/p>\n

Never too many Gatlin Guns.
\n\"g\"
\n\"g\"
\nI watched them stamp coins.
\n\"c\"<\/p>\n

This could have been one of the 30 pieces of silver given to Judas.
\n\"s\"<\/p>\n

This much money was only traded between banks.
\n\"f\"<\/p>\n

These were the two rarest, most expensive coins. Both were in the millions of dollars. One was only a nickle!
\n\"d\"
\n\"s\"<\/p>\n

Enjoyed watching one of the printers make awards for veterans.
\n\"p\"<\/p>\n

I liked this bison money.
\n\"b\"<\/p>\n

This was from the colony of Massachusetts before it became part of the USA.
\n\"m\"<\/p>\n

I didn’t spend much today. We got into the show for free. I bought a 1\/2 Shekel from Israel. I liked the minora.
\n\"m\"
\n\"s\"
\nAnd a seal signet ring from the Franklin Mint in Philadelphia. I love anything Franklin. Only $5 for both.
\n\"f\"
\n\"f\"<\/p>\n

There was a table of fossils. Way overpriced compared to the fossil show.
\n\"d\"<\/p>\n

Filled up with gas on the way home.
\n\"d\"<\/p>\n

Came home and watched the Middle with Kathy. She was pooped and kept falling asleep. I just sent her to bed.<\/p>\n
