{"id":603,"date":"2009-02-22T20:15:22","date_gmt":"2009-02-23T00:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=603"},"modified":"2009-02-22T20:15:22","modified_gmt":"2009-02-23T00:15:22","slug":"perimeter-state-of-the-county-and-to-the-mountain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whirlwindmissions.org\/blog\/?p=603","title":{"rendered":"Perimeter State of the County&#8211;and to the Mountain!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathy and I went to church at Perimeter this morning.\u00a0 The sermon was on confidence in the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite part was the &#8220;Solid Rock&#8221; band made up of 4-6th grade students.\u00a0 Kids were rockin!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478729752_faFcR-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nThen we were part of the State of the County address at the church.\u00a0 Gwinnett is a fantastic county, but we have significant issues to deal with:\u00a0 sex slaves, school dropouts and high divorce rates.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478728639_knweQ-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478729871_F3xox-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478727383_fJkXE-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/><br \/>\nWe enjoyed seeing some of our best partners including Chip Sweeney and Debra Potter.\u00a0 It&#8217;s always fun to hang out with them!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478729826_ni5TX-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nI always enjoy setting up our display and talking to people about our ministry.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478727639_J4h9v-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478727812_HtBUu-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478730227_zo4hR-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\nThen back up Stone Mountain for K and I.\u00a0 Super windy.\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478730355_3wdbs-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p> Biting cold, expecially up at the top.\u00a0 We still made it!<br \/>\nWe also saw a B17. It circles around Stone Mountain making a loop from Dobbins AFB.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478728359_vCtV7-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\nMy remote for my car lost a button today.\u00a0 Weird.\u00a0 My spare one had dead batteries so I tracked down some new ones and replaced them in both units.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/478729135_SXW5V-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\n\u00a0 My main remote still works, you just have to push the button that connected directly to the circuit board.\u00a0 Kinda weird.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve got some hot peach tea cooking.\u00a0 Sure smells soothing.\u00a0 I&#8217;m trying to get away from too much caffeine, especially in the evenings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathy and I went to church at Perimeter this morning.\u00a0 The sermon was on confidence in the Lord.
