Zoo!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, Ashley and I did a recon of missions in the Marietta area.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-ZcVvkwK\/1\/M\/IMG_6147-M.jpg\" alt=\"b\" \/><br \/>\nWe enjoyed lunch at Sabor do Brazil. <\/p>\n<p>Then went by Eastside Baptist Church to talk with some of the teachers about doing service projects with us.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-Dgk6nrj\/0\/M\/IMG_6148-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Over to First Baptist Marietta.  They are between youth directors right now.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-FFcFjbf\/0\/M\/IMG_6159-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And to Roswell Street Baptist Church to speak to the Brazilian pastor.<\/p>\n<p>Looked at the antiques on the square near the church.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-4ZLdWqw\/1\/M\/IMG_6157-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-8TGL4Zs\/0\/M\/IMG_6155-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nWent by Dwell apartments to speak with our friend Hessel who is the owner.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-9pZtWgm\/0\/M\/IMG_6151-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nGlad to tell him about the Tates moving into the area.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-WCJ9XCw\/1\/M\/IMG_6150-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then back to Chamblee to work with the kids at the mission.  Lot of work for the first week of school for sure.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-bknmpfw\/1\/M\/IMG_6162-M.jpg\" alt=\"t\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-5ZtF6Nz\/0\/M\/IMG_6163-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Partners\/Marietta-Recon-with-Ashley\/i-kxqwJkS\/1\/M\/IMG_6164-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nContinued working on the DVD promo project.  Takes time if you&#8217;re doing 75 of something. Even if we don&#8217;t need them all we can send them out to future prospects.<\/p>\n<p>Friday morning Kathy and I met up with Jesse and Ashley in Clarkston, then went to the Zoo to meet up with Miles.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-grDTfHD\/0\/M\/IMG_6177-M.jpg\" alt=\"m\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-jxZ3g4n\/1\/M\/IMG_6179-M.jpg\" alt=\"j\" \/><\/p>\n<p> We enjoyed eating at 6 Feet Under for lunch.  Right across the street from the cemetery.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-NmvC89v\/0\/M\/IMG_6180-M.jpg\" alt=\"x\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then off to the animals!  Jesse always says that the humans are the most fun to watch.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-v7SJx3Q\/1\/M\/IMG_6276-M.jpg\" alt=\"h\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pandas were my favorite today.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-sNwX8Fj\/0\/M\/IMG_6206-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-cCK74Xh\/0\/M\/IMG_6211-M.jpg\" alt=\"p\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-HfJjvHx\/0\/M\/IMG_6225-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although the gorillas were also groovy.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-kDZGM3f\/0\/M\/IMG_6265-M.jpg\" alt=\"g\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And the Three Banded Armadillo was so cute.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-7rKhWxw\/0\/M\/IMG_6247-M.jpg\" alt=\"a\" \/><br \/>\nThe Orangutan looked wise to me.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-KMVwskT\/0\/M\/IMG_6274-M.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s great having Miles work there.  It opens up another level of interest for me at the zoo. You felt cool, but not wet.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-Z85RjWK\/0\/M\/IMG_6196-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some beautiful houses near Grant Park near the zoo!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-VMnBCXv\/0\/M\/IMG_6173-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-4gC5mkH\/0\/M\/IMG_6181-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nSome still need work.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-s8Q5pmD\/0\/M\/IMG_6284-M.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><br \/>\nCame home to rest and continue the DVD project.  Today, I focused on doing the labels for each disk and putting them into envelopes.  Took hours.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-KsrjR4f\/1\/M\/IMG_6285-M.jpg\" alt=\"h\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Nature\/Zoo-with-Ashley-Miles-K\/i-MjtCfgC\/0\/M\/IMG_6286-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enjoyed watching All Is Lost this evening with K.  We also started the second season of Homeland.<\/p>\n<p>Admin duties now.<\/p>\n<p>I liked this 1957 Buick Century.
