Mission!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ashley and I had a fun lunch with Trent DeLoach.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-vJghGzk\/0\/M\/IMG_2990-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nHe&#8217;s the Missions Pastor for Rehoboth Baptist Church.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-wQGggp3\/0\/M\/IMG_2991-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-KZVWsqt\/0\/M\/IMG_2988-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m glad to hear that things are looking up for them.  We talked about housing teams at their church.  They want to charge $20\/night\/person.  I thought that was pretty high.  <\/p>\n<p>After our lunch, we went by North Lake Church of Christ.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-XzwW29n\/0\/M\/IMG_2994-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n They are another church willing to host teams.  They&#8217;ve just added showers to their facilities so people could stay there longer than overnight.  We talked with the secretary and left information for the Pastor.<\/p>\n<p>Went to the ATT store for Ashley to pick up her new phone! I reckon we do about 70% of our work on the phone.  Now our phones can do everything!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-GvpctPm\/0\/M\/IMG_2997-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n  We&#8217;re on the Next program with ATT, so we can upgrade once a year . . . .but we have to give our old phone back to them.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-6TQhrkK\/0\/M\/IMG_2998-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n I just found out this afternoon that those old phones are given to returning soldiers.  Hooo ah to that!<\/p>\n<p>Then to Briarcliff United Methodist Church.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-B6WGL32\/0\/M\/IMG_2999-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n We tried to find a staff person on site, wasn&#8217;t possible.  We left a note.  Again, we&#8217;re trying to solidify possible housing opportunities for our teams.<\/p>\n<p>We had a great conversation with John Sayger from Memphis, TN this afternoon.  I&#8217;ll be going to their church over MLK day to do a training with their students.<\/p>\n<p>It was fun passing the phone around to my Bengali kids at the mission to talk with them.  They got a kick out of that.<\/p>\n<p>Then worked with the kids.  Always good!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-7qg4bcj\/0\/M\/IMG_3001-M.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jesse showed the kids some science toys.  I love J&#8217;s enthusiasm!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-111014-and-Trent\/i-GZ67Hgh\/0\/M\/IMG_3002-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>K and I watched a couple of episodes of Grey&#8217;s Anatomy.  I&#8217;ve only started watching it.
