Mortgage! Apartments! Mission!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stayed up late Tuesday evening working on my newsletter.  Got it produced and sent to our partners at the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-mf5mH22\/0\/M\/IMG_7080-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s the story of Bayo, my friend who died last Friday.  Sad.  We&#8217;ll be going to the funeral Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Called my mortgage people.  I&#8217;m setting up an accelerated schedule of payments.  Took about an hour to deal with all the details.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-LWnbSP8\/1\/M\/IMG_7083-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nSpent some time repairing my shoulder bag.  I&#8217;ve had that bag at least eight years.  I&#8217;m always fixing it.  I reckon that&#8217;s the African in me.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-hkBSKQz\/1\/M\/IMG_7082-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Met up with Ashley for lunch.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-J55Mjx8\/0\/M\/IMG_7086-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-JgDCDLq\/0\/M\/IMG_7087-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n  We tried a new place called Little Cuba.  Good.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-GK23rD7\/0\/M\/IMG_7085-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\nWhile we were there, I saw a friend of mine recognized:  Gideon Levy.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-VKMtJKK\/0\/M\/IMG_7088-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n He is the owner and big boss of about 11 properties where we have work.  As I often say, &#8220;The most important thing that happens is rarely what I plan.&#8221; Certainly true in this case!<\/p>\n<p>Then went by the Buford Highway Farmers Market to make sure we were ok for bringing a choir there this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Went by the Dollar Tree to pick up supplies for the teams this weekend.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-RTtVXxT\/0\/M\/IMG_7089-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s in the block party bag.  Still missing two balls.  We had bought all their big balls last weekend.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-5FV4zhT\/0\/M\/IMG_7090-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We will have about 120 people in town on Saturday.  Ash and I went by eleven different properties to verify with the managers the team was coming.  Good times!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-g8Q7Wf4\/0\/M\/IMG_7091-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then to Azalea to help the kids with their homework.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-hgg4njG\/0\/M\/IMG_7092-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-N7Nrdz5\/0\/M\/IMG_7093-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n One of our volunteers brought several other kids to help.  They all enjoyed playing with my kids.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Missions\/Azalea-Place\/Azalea-32515-and-Mortgage\/i-BGQMSL3\/0\/M\/IMG_7095-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Looking forward to spending time with K this evening. <\/p>\n<p>I have to be at Providence Christian Academy at 7:50 am tomorrow.  That&#8217;s pretty early!  We always enjoy speaking to those kids.  Ash and I hope to mobilize them.  We&#8217;ll see what happens.<\/p>\n<p>I got some really good news today!
