David! Ashley! Commission!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning I worked on gifts for the families that I&#8217;m going to visit next week.  Picked up wrapping paper and stickers.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-gBpxcZc\/0\/M\/IMG_9037-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Did some shopping at Walmart.  I liked these flowers.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-XDw5p7j\/0\/M\/IMG_9039-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then met up with Ashley at FBC Doraville.  I brought her a tiny baby, just a little older than HER baby.  This is 14 weeks.  Ashley is 11 now.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-pBsqxw3\/0\/M\/IMG_9040-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-QpZVM92\/1\/M\/IMG_9041-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We rode up to Marietta to see our partner David Tate.  They moved to our area about nine months ago.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-mrLvzTq\/0\/M\/IMG_9042-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ve had a hard time here.  The renters of their house back in S. Carolina left, so now they&#8217;re paying two house payments.  Looks like they&#8217;ll be moving back to Spartanburg, SC.  Sad to see that.<\/p>\n<p>After our meeting with David, Ash and I did a quick recon of the square in Marietta.  There are a couple of stores there I find really interesting.  Ashley got some great ice cream.<\/p>\n<p>We went back to the church to pick up Ashley&#8217;s car.  <\/p>\n<p>I went to the Gwinnett County Planning Commission meeting this evening.  I was the representative from our subdivision against the rezoning of land near our neighborhood.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-SCtvCw6\/0\/M\/IMG_9044-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-ZfLqhNR\/0\/M\/IMG_9047-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I hope that this development will not become a reality. It&#8217;s nearly 120 houses!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/Something-Different\/Verbal-Surgery-Project-2015\/i-HDkcBnz\/2\/M\/IMG_9049-M.jpg\" alt=\"s\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I spoke with the lawyer of the developers and other neighborhood leaders against the rezoning.
