October 13-18, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My Dad has been in the nursing home in a rehab unit for about a month now.  I just got back from Georgetown, TX where my folks live.  It&#8217;s about 30 miles north of Austin.<\/p>\n<p>The Father told me to hold my Dad&#8217;s hand a lot.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-9Pr7Gnd\/0\/M\/IMG_3227-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s at the Wesleyan at Scenic. It&#8217;s a really good facility that actually smells fresh and clean and has a smiling nursing staff.  Wow.<\/p>\n<p>He does a transitions from walker to wheelchair.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-SCPX6Kz\/0\/M\/IMG_3306-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Plays games to increase dexterity.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-vF8cJbJ\/0\/M\/IMG_3304-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Had a great time being with my Mom.  It&#8217;s a challenging time for her.  Hard to see our loved ones having struggles.  Glad she has Waldo.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-vpvdXF3\/0\/M\/IMG_3228-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was fun to be around my brother, Jim and his family, Kathy and Katie.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-9QWFkNw\/0\/M\/IMG_3295-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-4rfMJmx\/0\/M\/IMG_3298-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I love the Hunt&#8217;s little girls, Harper and Sadie.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-Zz337kh\/0\/M\/IMG_3293-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Harper is my favorite.  She&#8217;s such a fun kid.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-pv4KwBN\/0\/M\/IMG_3301-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She loves nature.  I took a picture and taught her about aphids.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-RWhgWSZ\/0\/M\/IMG_3291-M.jpg\" alt=\";\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, I went to Waco for ComeHoming with the Noble NoZe Brotherhood.  I visited Leonard Shoaf&#8217;s grave.  He was the original Long NoZe.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-j69w2n6\/0\/M\/IMG_3233-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><br \/>\nHere&#8217;s where he was located.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Trips\/Texas-1013-18-Georgetown-and\/i-tt9n2vM\/0\/M\/IMG_3232-M.jpg\" alt=\"k\" \/><br \/>\nFun guys to hang out with! I&#8217;ll edit that soon.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed looking at antiques while I was in Georgetown.  Found a baby rattle that I liked.<\/p>\n<p>Spoke at Main Street Baptist Church on Sunday.
