Never a good thing.<\/p>\n<p>Tremendous rain storms last night.  I&#8217;ve bailed over 50 gallons of water from the basement.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/656932462_S5UA5-S.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/656932527_hc53w-S.jpg\" alt=\"w\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I reworked some of the drainage downspouts which has helped.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/656932115_r3wuH-S.jpg\" alt=\"d\" \/><br \/>\nWhile I was chopping and hoeing the downspouts into position, dad gum yellow jacket stung me.  My right foot is pretty swollen.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/656932089_U72sp-S.jpg\" alt=\"f\" \/><br \/>\nI adapted our wet dry vac and it&#8217;s a lot better than drying it up with towels!<\/p>\n<p>I just can&#8217;t believe how much rain we&#8217;ve had.  Actually tore up parts of the road near our house.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/whirlwindmissions.smugmug.com\/photos\/656932214_xdBPW-S.jpg\" alt=\"r\" \/><br \/>\nThey closed Highway 78 because of a land slide which covered the road.  Incredible.<\/p>\n<p>J and I planned to go to Willow Branch this afternoon.
