I enjoyed watching part of the Empire Strikes Back last night. I’m a huge Yoda fan. That’s where he makes his first appearance. Jim Henson ran him as a puppet. Now he’s done with CG. These are some of my favorite shots.

Cold and rainy today!

Had a fun luncheon with my friends from the Chamblee Doraville Property Managers Association.

Always good to see partners!

Picked up supplies at Walmart.

Including bandaids for my thumb.

SO glad that my back wasn’t really bothering me today. PTL!

Met up with Ashley and Jesse later and worked with the kids at the mission.

I liked Aylene’s coloring.

My management partners gave me the remaining food from the Christmas party for the kids. They loved it !

My back was so sore! I had a rest day. Needed it.

Worked on Admin duties at home.

Went to see the Muppets movie. We liked it.

George Lucas called and wants me to be in the fight scenes in the 3d Star Wars movie. I told him ok.

Had supper with my partners from the Brethren Mission board. They’re moving their headquarters to Atlanta from Illinois.

We had delicious Malaysian food and enjoyed the big tables.

Kathy and I enjoyed going to Clarkston International Bible Church this morning.

Pastor Phil Kitchin preached from Isaiah. . . the coming of the Messiah and his four names. Amen!

This evening Kathy and I went around Stone Mountain Village to look at the lights.

I like to get different effects with lights and slow shutter speeds. Beauty!

Fun to hang out with Kathy this evening.

Still dawning on us that we really have a daughter who doesn’t live with us any more.

She’s here right now studying for a final in Human Comm this week.

We enjoyed getting together at Ashley and Miles cottage to share the vows and exchange rings.

We sat on pillows on the floor and relished the great food and atmosphere.

Took care of some paperwork this morning.

Got a confirmation that the health insurance plan that I had changed for the kids was correct. Great to get things done.

Colors were beautiful.

I was interested in how the eye interprets a picture when you have power lines in the foreground, a tree and then the moon in the background. You got a real sense of depth in the picture.

Had a fun today with one of my favorite partners: Rob Martin of Mobilizing Students!

Rob brought hundreds of kids to work with us this year! Looking forward to many more in the future!

In fact, we’re preparing for Urban Plunge where we’ll have over 270 students in mid June. Could be as many as 500!

So today we went by a few churches to see where we could house part of the group as well as talking about how portable showers might work.

Went by the Corners apartments to sign the new lease. Wasn’t ready, so I’ll have to go by next week. Typical.

Then over to Azalea to work with the kids! Always fun!

At home working on Admin duties! Taking care of some business related to our health insurance. Sure is a time consuming process!
