Kathy, Jesse and I had a fun lunch in Decatur. While we were waiting for food, I went outside to check the traffic which was terrible. I saw a elderly lady take a hard fall right on her face. I raced over to help.
She had broken her front teeth. I gathered up the fragments I could find and got her some ice to help the bleeding and swelling. Sure felt sorry for her. It reminded me of when my Dad caught his foot on a curb and fell when he was visiting us in Atlanta.
I liked the decorations. The food was just ok.
We had a good visit with Jesse’s new doctor. I feel confident that we’re really getting a handle on this medical situation and he’s going to be doing better all the time.
Worked with the kids on their solar cooking project.
The 4th graders have a musical instrument project I’ll be helping them with. Lot of work!
Great to have the whole family to help!
Ashley locked her keys in the car. GLAD we have AAA!
Had a good time with Ashley and Miles this evening. They had a really long day! They went to Warner Robbins to speak to a church. What a great team!
Admin duties now.
I liked these pansies.
And this car!
I thought this dragon looked funny!

Had a fun day with Ashley and Jesse today!
We met up with Ashley at FBC Doraville, then went over to Marietta to meet our team leaders from the YMCA!
We’ve worked with them for several years. We plan to help them with a week in the Summer in the Marietta, Roswell and Sandy Springs areas.
We took them by several complexes to see some possibilities of where they might be working. Also met with some of the managers and leasing people.
After working with my YMCA partners, J, A and I took a quick look around Marietta. My favorite antique store was closed. : (
I still liked looking in the window at the old cameras.
Helped the kids with their homework. Nishi had a Frederick Douglass project to do. I thought she did a great job on it.
Stayed late. Lots of work to take care of. Always great to have Ashley and Jesse to help!
I liked Darlene’s picture.
Working on admin duties now. Looking forward to relaxing with K this evening.

Kathy and Jesse and I had a good morning at Clarkston International Bible Church today! Kathy rode her bike home. GO K!
Pastor Phil spoke on the church at Sardis from the book of Revelation.
Nothing good to say about that church. Help us to be better than them!
We ate lunch at Kathmandu Grill in Clarkston.
It was some of the best Indian food I’ve had!
Came home to rest and then have fun recording a new podcast! Yeah!
Check out “Expect-Accept!” What you expect to happen, generally does. ACCEPT that you are a wonderful person who deserves those good things!
Working on admin duties now.
Also plan on finishing up my taxes to send into my tax preparer. Glad to have that job just about done!
Beautiful, windy day today. Had about 1/8″ of rain yesterday. Always good!

Worked on my taxes again today. Joy.
Enjoyed lunch with Kathy and Jesse in Lawrenceville. There’s a large Bosnian population in the area. I thought this sign was cool.
Looked at an antique place. Didn’t see anything interesting.
Had a restful afternoon. Then took a walk around our neighborhood.
I like the school’s new sign!
Admin duties and TV with K and J!

Sent Ashley a record of my mileage for ministry today. She’s great about helping put our financial report together!
Cleaned my fish tank today. The fish hardly ever come out. Boring really.
That was more fun that working on my taxes, for sure. Got most of the documents I need to send into my tax preparer. Unfortunately, the web site for my bank was down, so I couldn’t verify some of the figures I needed. Hopefully, I’ll get that done this weekend.
Kathy, Jesse and I enjoyed Crazy Ron’s BBQ in Stone Mountain today. My favorite!
Enjoyed a nice conversation with my Mom today. Glad to hear my Dad is doing well!
Jesse went with me to the Atlanta History Center today. They had an exhibition on native American Indians who lived in Georgia. I find that fascinating. They had a really interesting documentary with Cherokee and Creek Indians. But there wasn’t much to the exhibition. I liked these parts.
I really dislike Andrew Jackson. I can’t believe he’s on our currency.
The flowers outside the Center were beautiful.
Super cold today! It’s supposed to get down in the 20s tonight. All the buds on this bush will probably die. Sad.
I liked these too!
Admin duties now.
Watching Disc 1 from the Homeland series with K and J.
