I enjoyed an interesting day!
My Gardenia bush had another flower this morning. Beauty smell.
Beautiful golden orange mushrooms. Wish I would have noticed them a few days ago.
Ridges, not gills.
Went to eat at Cafe Istanbul.
I love the decor. The colors are awesome.
I sat outside. The air was great.
I had the whole place to myself.
I was missing my English buddies.
Food was as beautiful as it was delicious. Lamb kebab. Yeah, baby!
I used the hot sauce sparingly.
Then went to the Astronomy Club meeting that was held at the Fernbank Science Center. It’s not the big Fernbank with IMAX, it’s another much smaller museum, but it does host the planetarium and the big telescope.
Mercury 7 capsule.
Bee hive.
I like this T. Rex skull.
Always something to explore. Like this meteor.
They were also selling plants today. Nothing that really interested me.
Had a nice rest when I came home.
Then took Kathy out to Piccadilly for some fried fish. Man. It was so good.

Enjoyed recording a new podcast this morning!
Want to make your brain shiny? Then check out “Brain Polish!” You’ll feel better NOW!
Met up with Ashley for lunch.
Went to check on our church partners at Crossroads Church in Dunwoody.
They have hosted thousands of our team members. We had heard that they may be changing their minds on that idea. I thought it was a good idea to go over and encourage them to hang in there with us!
My good friends at Main Street Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX are having their 25th anniversary next month. They invited me to make a video for their celebration. Ashley helped me shoot it today. I just finished editing the piece and burning a DVD for them. I hope they find it amusing . . . and inspirational!
Went over to brother Bayo’s house. He gave me a new hat! Dapper.
Had fun working with the kids at the mission.
Ashley and I met up with Miles, Kathy and Jesse for supper at Ian and Ruthie North’s house.
It was great to see the baby! Jack is a real beauty.
Enjoyed watching a series on PBS about FDR this evening. He used to come to Warm Springs, GA frequently to treat his polio. It’s cool to think he was there.

Beautiful flower this afternoon at the Forum where we ate lunch.
I liked the shapes of these mushrooms.
Cool ivy.
I always see something different at Plaza Fiesta!

Had a strong 5.03 mile run this morning. Always something beautiful to see.
Lots of mushrooms to peruse.
Rested after I cooled down.
Then went to the dentist for my annual cleaning.
No cavities.
Sorry, that was kind of gross. You can scroll up and look at the flowers again if you need to.
Had a good time with the kids.
Sure was wonderful to have Ashley back!
She had a problem with her phone and her computer. Ouch. Double whammy.
Went to Walmart to pick up a few items before I went home. That included rat traps. So far Jesse has killed two rats in the apartment.
Came home. Admin duties now.

Had a vigorous 5.00 mile run this morning.
I took Mooglie.
It was harder running with her today.
She’s still learning how to run with someone. It’s a pretty hard stop when she suddenly want to check her pee mail.
Always something beautiful and interesting to see.
This mushroom has ridges rather than tubes or gills. First one I’ve seen.
Beauty!
I liked these different kinds of Coleus plants.
Rested after getting cleaned up. Then off to work with the kids at the mission. I was early so I stopped at the Walmart in Tucker to see what plants they had on sale. Some beautiful palms. They were marked down from $25 to $10.50. Just a second ago I noticed that that price was reduced by HALF again. So it cost only $5! I’ll definitely go back and get more tomorrow.
This one had a type of small, yellow mushroom growing out of it.
Enjoyed working at the mission.
My friend Amit from England called me today on Face Time while I was at the mission. My kids had fun seeing my English friend. He was getting in touch to invite me to his wedding.
I was especially proud of Nishi and Maria and their Clara Barton project.
It was Maria’s birthday. Jesse gives the kids candy.
Sweet kid.
Ate supper with Jesse. Always good.
K and I watched the end of Last Vegas. I thought it was pretty funny.

I saw this caterpillar in the garage. Fantastic.
You can tell I just pressure washed the concrete.
Wow.
Interesting graphic.
Say WHAT?!

Big challenge today. Cleaned up an area of my basement that was mighty dirty. Had to move a ton of stuff.
Cleaned up the area.
Ate a salad at McDonalds. This Burger King employee was there taking a nap.
On the way to Walmart, I noticed these mushrooms on the side of the road. Parked and took pictures. Fabulous.
This type of mushroom does not have gills, they have tubes. It’s one of the signs to indicate that it might be edible. If they have gills, and most do, never think about eating them!
These golden yellow colored mushrooms were a few feet away.
Went to Walmart to pick up some supplies. In order to have plants on that table, I needed light. Fortunately, Walmart had lights on sale for $7. Bulbs were cheap, too.
I saw this Red Shouldered Hawk on the way home. Magnificent.
Cleaned the floors with the wet dry vac.
And with the Swiffer mop.
Put everything in order.
Got cleaned up and ate supper with Kathy.
They had a lift machine in the parking lot. I thought it was cool.
Lots of warning signs.
Watched Enders Game. K didn’t like it. I thought it was pretty good.

I liked these paragraphs from an article I was reading in Wired about the next generation of Siri type products.
And this on intelligence.
