Sunday, K and I went to Westside Baptist Church.

His wife, Cindy, talked about the Block Party we had.

Always a good time.

We had seven people accept Jesus at our Block Party. I thought that was great! Pastor Ben spoke about Faith and getting involved.

Rested most of the day.

Monday morning, one of my favorite things: RECORDING!

Called our doctor to get Kathy’s prescriptions figured out. They’ve changed one. Cue dramatic music.

Talked to our Health Insurance guy. He sent some files to fill out. After doing that this evening, the site said we didn’t qualify. Go figure. Hopefully, he’ll come up with Plan B.

I always check with my mechanic before I bring a car over.

Kathy needs to get her windshield washer pump replaced. At least that’s what we think. It’s at T&G this evening. They’ll work on it tomorrow morning, or whenever they get the parts.

I watched Penelope this afternoon for a few hours.

She had a nice nap from 2-3pm. It’s very quiet and dark in my room. Good for resting.

She loves clickers.

So cute.

Went to the mission to help the kids.

Penelope is so loved.

Picked up some stuff at Walmart. Needed packets of baby food.

Uploaded my podcast to my server.

I was on the phone with Comcast for over an hour. Finally got to a Level 2 Tech Support guy who restarted my router with the command line to fix the Wireless Gateway connections. Working way better. Thank you, Lord!

I’m having internet issues. Friday, I could barely upload anything to the web. Very frustrating. I kept doing speed tests.



Called Comcast. Still haven’t gotten the situation fixed. Had to tell them the id of the router.

I’m supposed to be getting 75mb download and 10mb upload. Comcast promised me they’re working on it.

Went by Jesse’s counselor to check on medications.

Replaced a pole near our house.

Pouring the footing for a retaining wall at my neighbor’s house.

Fantastic having Penelope spend the night with K and me. Love that baby so much. Ashley calls this the “Hallelujah Pose.”

She’s up a couple of times during the night, just smiling and happy. So much fun. She’ll start drinking her bottle and fall back to sleep.

Saturday, met up with Ashley and Jesse for lunch. Great to have our whole family together.


What a cutie!

We missed Miles. He was with a friend.

Surprisingly cool this morning, in the 50s. Started wearing shoes.

Blew the leaves off the driveway.

Fixed a heart rate monitor for Jesse. Had a great conversation with him about his company.

Picked up J’s meds and gassed up his car.

Did the grocery shopping while I was at Kroger.

I like my new chili plant. I put the mum near the kitchen window.

Uploaded my podcast. Finally worked today.
