I enjoyed listening to the sleep doctor with J the morning.
The girls are super into Labubu dolls.
OYB!
Jessi helped the girls study while I worked on Spanish.
Good talk with Nana. Had to cut it short because she needed to get ready for her physical therapist.
While I was studying, I saw a doe walk through my yard towards my feeders. I ran into the living room to alert the girls so they could see the deer. Supa coo.

I took the girls swimming to Evergreen at Stone Mountain.
Ordered an adaptor so I can listen to white noise and take a nap while I’m at Ashley’s house. I kind of doubt it will drown out Ryder’s barking, but we’ll see.
Don Cheto!
Love my girls.
K always has some kind of medical question.
I took the garbage bags and paid stickers to the Fellowship Hall at the church.
We are still having problems with mud leaking under the door. I just sent the Pastor a text about it. I think if I ran a bead of silicon caulk under the door, it would solve a lot of problems.
Went by my office to pick up and process checks. Then deposited them.
Helped the kids at Azalea. Talked with a few more about coming over to the Mission in the morning.
I want the grandgirls to see this list.
We are working on multiplication tables.
Sent a note to my dear friend Uncle Will J Roberts.
I took the girls to Burger King. We had a good time with the hats.
We went to Plaza Fiesta to get Ashley’s shoes worked on. My Liberian cobbler did his usual impeccable work.
The girls had fun at the playground at Plaza Fiesta. It’s pretty impressive.
Had some powerful storms blow through.
Stopped by UPS to send the guitar cable back to Amazon. I needed the ten foot rather than the six foot cable.
Everly forgot her backpack full of clothes and things she needs for the days she’s over at my house. So we went to Walmart to get some underwear and socks plus pajamas and shirt and shorts.
We went to American Deli for dinner. The girls weren’t impressed.

Worked on the calendar for the Summer. Eight weeks of Super School.
I’ve enjoyed playing with my new Spark GO amp. It really is amazing. I’m having fun with all the sounds the amps can make. It’s cool to play along with music and play your line as loud or a softly as you want.
OYB!
I came in second in the semi-final competition. This week I’ll probably be third. I usually make around 20,000 points. There are two guys that last week made 33,000 and another with 25,000. That’s a lot.
Mileage.
Great to have the girls together. First day of Super School.
Ordered groceries.
McDonalds for breakfast.
Then to the Mission to study.
I had three new middle school boys. They spoke almost no English. It’s why I study Spanish every day. I can say just about anything. I get stuck on words sometimes. This morning I had a challenge with two verbs, traer and llegar. Their dads needed to take them to school because they had missed the bus. It was the “take you” part that was hard. I made it work.
Sprayed my Pink Magnolia with Neem oil. It had a lot of white powder mildew. I need to be spraying it a lot more. My guess is the rain washes most of the medicine away. And it poured down today in Chamblee.
I’m not sorry about this.
Went by my office to get the mail and process checks. It takes time to endorse the checks, take pictures of them for our records and put the amount for each donation on our spread sheet. Then I deposit the checks, take a picture of the deposit slip and then email myself all those pictures with the title “Checks and deposits 6.9.25.”
Kathy, the girls and I went to Brook Run or “Monkey Bar” park today. We had a great time. I always make an obstacle course for them. Usually involves balance, climbing and hanging.
Powerful thunderstorms drove us out of the park in the morning. We got torrential rainfall in the afternoon as well.
Gassed up my car and checked the oil after I picked up the groceries.
Took care of some correspondence with a couple of the team leaders.
Keep going.

The power blinked off at my house yesterday. For some reason the LAN cable to my PS5 stopped working. After a time of checking out cables and connections and restarting everything, it still didn’t work. I then unhooked the cable and set up my system using wifi, which worked perfectly.
Vocabulario.
I moved some of my gear around.
I appreciated K making a little shrine for Father’s Day.
OYB!
Got a strainer and some cables.

Good chat with my buddy, Anthony.
Rode my bike 12.39 miles. Over 9 mph is pretty fast for me. Lots of big hills on my route.
I need to print off part of my bill to get reimbursed.
I’ll probably come in second place this week. Let someone else win.
Tomorrow marks the first day of Super Summer. Exactly eight weeks off. Not counting when they were with me for a week with the big team nor them being at Tybee last week.
Did more laundry. I like to wash after I work out.

I’ve enjoyed my new Spark GO amp. It’s called a “modeling” amp. It has the sounds of hundreds of different amps and pedals you can use. Last night I also got a foot pedal and a looper for my rig. I’m looking forward to using those.

I’m planning on going to the High Museum on Sunday to see the Ikedo exhibit. I’m going to ride the Marta from Doraville. WAY easier than parking.
Rode my bike 12.41 miles. It was hard. My ride has a lot of big hills and it was hot. I listened to Don Cheto while I rode.
Did the laundry including a couple of K’s things and the towels.
I fried some eggs and potatoes with salsa for lunch. Cleaned up the dishes.
I brought my plumeria back inside. It needs to dry out. I like to see the new growth.
This switch turns on the rainbows.
Don’t stop. I really only care if I’m in the top three.

Trying to teach K about the difference between the internet, cell signals, and wifi. Not sure I’m getting through.
Just finished watching Dept. Q. I really liked it.
I’m using the Fender app. It’s loaded with great information. This is the scale I’ve been studying in E minor on the guitar.
Ordered some medium picks.

Looks like rain for a while. I brought my plumeria in. I don’t like it getting too wet. I keep all my succulents inside.
I enjoyed talking to Nana today. She sounds a lot better.
My voice is about back to normal. I went to Stone Mountain and recorded “The Hard Part.” Strong work.
I got my new Spark GO amp in. It’s tiny. It has a very powerful interface/app that you use to control all the different amp/pedal modes you could ever ask for.
Keep going.

Storms blowing in from the coast. Unusual to see weather from that direction.
I got my coral honeysuckle vine in today. I immediately transplanted it into a bigger pot. Once she gets established in the pot, I’ll transplant her into the yard by one of my fences.
Called Nana. Always a blessing! She was having a problem talking because of allergies I’m still a bit hoarse from being with the team last week.
Fun chat with my buddy Anthony. He’d just come back from holiday in Crete.
Paid the taxes on my two cars. It’s my birthday next month: July 12th.
Paid Visa bill.
I got new Ernie Ball Regular Slinky Electric Guitar strings in yesterday. I put them on my Les Paul today.
Chatted with Cade from Christ Church in Birmingham.
Keep going. It will be close this week.

I’ve enjoyed studying the Pentatonic scale for guitar. I knew a lot of it, but hadn’t systematically learned it.
Here are all five linked together on the fret board.
I like studying these types of phrases.
A neighbor left two sofas in the front yard to be picked up. I left a note in his mailbox today telling him that he had to call Waste Pro and schedule a pickup for bulk waste.
Lovely weather. Much drier air. Rain is coming.
I got a new hat at GoodWill yesterday. I cleaned them by soaking them in oxyclean overnight, then rinsing and drying them out this morning. Also cleaned my shoelaces. I also scrubbed my shoes and prepped them for painting today.
OYB!
Ordered groceries.
Came in #1 last week. Good chance of that this week as well.
Chatted with Aaron Meeks from Bethel BC in Moody, AL.
I took out a Cherry Blossom tree that had died. I dug up around the roots and used a chain saw to cut it out.
A big limb hit my fence. I bent the metal back in shape and put it together.
Picked up sticks and put them in the recycle area in my back yard.
Dug holes and replanted my banana plants. The long pots didn’t work well. I tore a lot of the roots off of the rhizome. I won’t do that again.
Blew the driveway and deck.
I listened to Don Cheto while I dug holes and planted the bananas.
Trimmed my Pink Magnolias. You have to cut the little branches at the bottom off so it looks more like a tree than a bush.
I thought these tracks on top of my garbage can dumpster were interesting.
Picked up my groceries and put them away.
Keep going.
