I came in third place in the Duolingo league last week.

It’s the anniversary of the wedding of my buddy Amit in England. They are some great guys.

Kathy and I went to Peachtree Corners Baptist Church. It was great to see old friends like Bennett Eckandem.

K and I enjoyed going to Bobby’s Cheeseburgers for lunch. I’m going on the colonoscopy fast for the next three days.

Went to Ashley’s house to pick up the girls. Look at this dress she’s creating!

Went back to FBCD to put up my supplies for the On The Road Show. Checked the mail.

We took K back home and then the girls and I went to Stone Mountain for the Pumpkin Festival “Glow by Night.”

It was groovy.

The funnel cake was awesome.

4D movie. The pcture wasn’t set up correctly and the images didn’t match up properly. The left eye was a slightly higher than the image in the right eye. Messed up the 3D effects.

I always find a way to get them some exercise, particularly focusing on strength and balance.

We found a hairbrush with Penelope’s name on it. I don’t think we’ve ever found anything with her name on it before. And of course Everly’s name is even rarer.

We had fun playing Death Golf. It was a joke from the Fire Queen show. She called one of the devices she used “The Wheel of Death.” Sometimes I did the ball like I was bowling. Or pool. I did make a hole in one on my first shot of the game! I played it off like it was no big deal.

They enjoyed rolling down the hill on their big lawn. Got a tad bit of grass in their hair.

I love the effects you get from shooting in this lighting.

I enjoy doing my “swishy lights” effect. You have to shoot and move the camera at the same time. Whipping your hand around. I think the effect can be fabulous.

I took a lot of things to Goodwill.

Also had a lot of recyclables.

Lots of garbage.

I will take this furniture out of here too. Someone else could really use them.

I’ll be moving plants inside this area soon. I’m working on fabricating a container for my banana plants from heavy duty garbage bags and plastic laundry baskets.

Went to Goodwill to drop off the stuff in the car.

Listened to Don Cheto during my 12.43 mile bike ride. 1:25 time.

My Mom wants to listen to the TV through headphones. I figured out how to install the Roku app on her iPhone and how to pair it with earbuds. Sounds great!

I’m learning how to do the Codes for Borderlands 4.

After having a problem with the key fob yesterday, I figured out how to render one of them inactive by putting the batteries in with the poles apart. Then I put it in a hide a key to store under the car. I put the key inside a sock which I attached with neodymium magnets so they won’t fall off.

Did laundry!

Worked on getting all the stuff together for the PCBC conference on Sunday.

While I was getting into the church, I dropped my keys and the car fob came apart. Eventually, I figured out that the batteries went head to head, not head to tail and I got it to work. I couldn’t get to the Mission on time. K and I went by there later, but no one was out. We had finished almost everything yesterday. I told Ms. Jones I probably wasn’t going to make it today.

Went by Ashley’s house to drop off a hot glue gun (pink!) for her. Also left Penelope’s tablet.

Then to the bank to deposit checks. Thank you, Father!

I somehow ordered another bird feeder. Took it back to Whole Foods to go to Amazon.

My partner from Servant Life asked about the chance of a team staying at the church. Turned out to be a no go according to the Pastor.

Printed off a monthly birthday list for my Mom.

Picked up a short list of groceries.

Keep going.

The girls spent the night. Penelope helped me deflate the air mattress.

I liked their new pjs. Everly put them over her clothes for this shot. She’s not that bulky!

We ate at Golden Corral. Haven’t eaten there in years.

K helped me with the kids at the Mission.

Got J’s new air mattress in. She’s on the fence as to whether to use that or a regular mattress.

Ashley’s is on a short trip to Vegas with one of her best friends.

I hung the David Shepherd prints in my rooms today.

Also a picture from my buddy Jim Pirtle. This artist was a mental patient Jim used to work with. He actually became quite famous!

I’m going to Peachtree Corners BC this Sunday. I’ll be giving a short presentation.

Dropped off the two bird feeder poles that didn’t have the squirrel baffles at Whole Foods.

K and I picked the girls up at the bus and took them to Waffle House.

I went to Azalea to check on the kids but it started sprinkling so we decided not to do homework today.

Ryder loves to look out of Penelope’s window.

Picked up groceries and put them up.

Refilled my wild animal food container.

Moved one of my feeder stations to where it’s easier for us to see.

Refilled my water bottles.

Cleaned and refilled the bird baths.

Finished hanging pictures in my Mom’s room. I think they look really great! More like her home every day! We are SO glad to have her with us!

Recorded and released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Band Aid.”

Got a window bird feeder for my Mom.

I’m enjoying playing Borderlands 4.

Played my guitar with my Spark amp/app last night.

I unpacked my curios from Kenya that I brought home from Texas.

Watered my plants.

Cleaned off one of the counters in the kitchen.

Downloaded new episodes of Don Cheto to listen to on my bike ride.

Cleaned my bike and rode 12.36 miles in 1:24.

Blew the driveway and the deck. Also blew the leaves off the road in front of my house.

Watered the plants on the deck and cleaned and refilled the birdbaths.

Jessi helped me put the new bird feeding stations together. They have baffles on them to keep the squirrels away. Amen.

I put one in the back yard too, so Nana can watch the birds from her window.

Heard from my friend Stuart Sutton about selling my Mom’s house. Hopefully, we’ll get that going soon.

Washed my comforter yesterday and did the rest of the bed linen today.

Vacuumed the house and cleaned the vacuum.
