Had nearly 3″ of rain in the last two days! That makes over 4″ this week!

This morning I met up with my team from Perimeter Church!

I took them on a tour of the Buford Highway Farmers Market, CD Tower and Plaza Fiesta. Fun!

The puppies are always popular!

Then over to the mission at Azalea to give out some frozen treats!

The kids really enjoyed that!

Had a good prayer time with the kids and team.

Then off to Perimeter Mall. I needed to get a couple more batteries for my AR Drone. You only get about 15 minutes of flight time out of them.

Also got a new hat!

The one I got from Walmart was merely a stop gap until I was able to look around and get something better. The brim on the other hat was whack.

Admin duties now.

Looking forward to an event with Roswell United Methodist Church tomorrow.

This morning I had fun! I recorded a new podcast! This one is excellent, in my humble opinion. Check out “Zero Hour” Savor every second and listen to this!

Jesse, Kathy and I went by to check on our team from FBC Mountain Park at Azalea. They’re doing a wonderful job there.

Ate lunch at Perimeter Mall. Always see interesting things there.

Then a quick visit to Perimeter College to check on admittance regulations for Jesse. He’s thinking about taking some classes in the Fall.

Home to work on admin duties.

Drove through heavy rain near Stone Mountain. We’ve had 3 3/4″ of rain in the last three days. Groovy!

I kind of feel this way.

Last night I opened up my new AR Drone 2.0 from Parrot.com. That stands for Arial Reconnaissance.

They use these quad copters a lot in the military. GREAT to be able to have fun with them.

Ashley and I gave our briefing this morning! Group sang to me. Always groovy.

Great to have the whole family with me on my special day!

Then over to Plaza Fiesta! Always a wonderful place!

Ate a Pollo Norteno with the group from Florida.

Then over to the missions!

Sad to see them go!

Jesse and I practiced with the AR Drone in the church parking lot! Fun!


Enjoyed watching Wall E with K this evening.

Kathy loved the pig that Ashley bought me for my birthday. Me, too!

Ashley also bought me this skeleton dog from Guanajuato, Mexico. Love it!

The team from Emmanuel BC gave me this skull! A new favorite!

Rained a little over an inch last night. That’s over 2″ in two days!

Add a new team today! Meadowgrove Baptist Church from Mississippi! Great to have them on board.

We covered four more locations bringing the total to 20 apartment complexes this week. Groovy!

Ashley and I gave our briefings. Today on Islam and Hinduism.

We visited Al Madina and Global Mall, the Shiva Mandir.

We ate lunch at Ashiana’s: one of the best Indian food restaurants in Atlanta. And at $6.99 for a buffet that’s GREAT!

We got our new team onto their four locations.

Also went to a Chinese bookstore. I was looking for Chinese character dictionary. MAN! That looks like a hard language!

Enjoyed seeing some unusual objects there!

It’s my birthday tomorrow and my birthday present arrived today! I might have mentioned that I got a AR Drone 2.0. It’s a quad copter (four propellors) that is controlled by your iPhone or iPad! How awesome is that!

It also has a hi def camera so you can shoot video! I think it’s going to be a LOT of fun!

Home now to work on admin duties and rest. And fly my chopper!

Met up with my good friend Pastor Ben Lehman from Westside BC today!

His team is coming to work in the International Village a week from now. We went to the missions where his team will be hosting a basketball clinic.

Checked on the teams at the missions. They’re doing a really great job.

Looks like a big storm coming tonight. Last night we got 1″.

With the water comes the mushrooms.

Both of these groups were here last year. PTL!

Finished editing the video for the Bon Air Baptist Church team last night.

Jesse and I went to church together. Kathy rode her bike to Clarkston. She’s an amazing woman!

Pastor Phil Kitchin preached on gentleness. That means power under control. I certainly need more of that!

We met up with Ashley and Miles at church. We all enjoyed eating Texas style BBQ at Fox Brothers in Decatur. It was really good. But I think that Crazy Ron’s in Stone Mountain still edged them out!

Came home to rest. Felt good!

Admin duties now. Prep work for the three teams in town next week.

This morning I took care of some errands. Did the grocery shopping. Somebody forgot this.

Walmart is already preparing for back to school!

went by the bank to authorize the new bank card for the ministry.

Got a board for the bed at Lowe’s. The mattress needed more support.

Came home to edit video for Bon Air BC. Got it edited and compressed. Working on burning a dvd now.

J and I went to see the Amazing Spiderman in 3d. We liked it! I thought it’s the best Spiderman ever! I also liked that there was a cameo of Stan Lee!

When I bought the tickets, the speaker was SUPER load. It literally hurt my ears to stand in front of it.

Kathy and I had a GREAT night last night! Jesse called us and said he was coming home! California is great, but having family around is great too!

He’s especially coming for my birthday next week and his cousin Katie’s wedding. We picked him up early this morning.

Kathy and I joined Ashley to check on the final day of our team from Bon Air BC, VA. This is has been one of my favorite teams this summer! Their church first worked with me back in 2000!

They’ll be missed.

Also cleaned the fish tank.

Kathy and I enjoyed watching TV. We watched Killers with Ashton Kutcher, but didn’t really like it.
