I’m feeling a bit better today. Head is still real stopped up.

Picked up my cleaned comforter.

Got more stamps.

Spent the afternoon with Miles and Ashley helping him get a new seat for his Jeep.

Went to Walmart first to pick up some tools for the job. We needed a good socket set.

We went to Pull a Part for the new seat.

Ashley came to for moral support.

We got it out of the old truck.

I took pictures and we compared them with Miles’ seat before we went to the hassle of taking it out.


And into the new truck. You may find this hard to believe, but I didn’t take a picture.

I actually broke a sweat doing it. This is some crazy February weather–nearly 70 degrees!

Maybe I need some brain water.

Not feeling that great today. Got pressure in my head and ears. Kinda weak. Not bad, but not my usual tiger tank self.

Dropped off my financial report to our treasurer.

Sent the year end report to our home church.

Did some creative writing for my Twitter feed. Over 82,000 followers.

Enjoyed sushi for lunch.

I was amazed to see the azaleas blooming! Wow!

Resting again and admin duties.

About a 1/4″ of rain yesterday.

Had a good rest this morning. I was feeling kind of sick yesterday. Sore throat and weak. Feel better today.

Worked on a report for my partners at Perimeter Church today. Sure am glad I have Ashley to help me with it.

I put my new file cabinet in place. It’s the black one. I picked it up from Perimeter yesterday. I reckon it’s still got life in it!

This is my living room area downstairs.

I picked up Miles and Ashley at their cottage in Clarkston and we worked with the kids at Azalea. Always fun!

The kids enjoy playing games at the mission. That’s AFTER they finish their homework.

Worked on the bills this morning. Glad to get that done.

Mailed off Jesse’s computer to him in California. I’m sure he’ll be glad to have that again!

Went to the Apple store to get them to restore my iPad.

Took them less than 15 minutes!

After seeing the “Last Lions” movie last night, these tracks reminded me of tiny lion prints.

Went to Perimeter Church this afternoon to pick up some supplies they had for us.

I just got a little bit of it. Mostly markers and toys.
The kids always enjoy the gifts!

Helped the kids with their homework.

Sure was glad to have Ashley there!

I threw candy to the kids this afternoon! Another gift from Perimeter Church!


We had ESL classes this evening at the mission.

I went by FBC Doraville to take pictures of the kitchen facilities for a team coming in from Texas. Always glad to make our infrastructure even better!


Admin duties this evening.

I helped Kathy get some new music on her iPod. She went with Johnny Cash, Cake, Bread (funny!), James Taylor, Carol King and the new WOW 2012 cd–which is a best of the current Christian Music. She was very happy about that.

And when she’s happy, I’m happy.

Worked on a new podcast this morning. Oh, YEAH!

Did the grocery shopping. Didn’t take too long. But the traffic in the aisles was worse than 285.

Great to have Ashley and Miles with me at the mission today.

We gave the kids the coats from Perimeter School.

They sure were nice to get them for the kids!

Had a meeting with my partner Adam Coleman. I’m helping him get his organization situated in Clarkston.

Admin duties including writing a reference letter for a former student of mine.

Enjoyed watching the Last Lions with Kathy. Story of a lioness and her three cubs in Botswana. Powerful stuff! Highly recommend it!

Gave Kathy a haircut. It’s SO hard to stifle my urge to say really funny things that would freak her out, like, “Oh my God, I used the wrong size. I’ve really messed up.” Or “Oops! It’ll look ok in a few weeks.” Or “Perhaps you’ll start a new trend.” Or, “It’s only bad when you look at it in the mirror.”

I did a good job and she was happy. She has no idea the humor she missed.

Had a fun time with Kathy, Ashley and Miles today at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church.

We spoke to the College class.

Service was good. A man who had converted from Islam to Christianity was the main speaker.

I liked the little kids singing the best.

Always good to see friends!

This dog was being trained to help handicapped people.

She could open doors, turn on lights, find the remote and change channels!

I’m not making this up!

I thought the crystals on the glass were cool.

And how the reflection of the tree branches in the glass looked somewhat like the crystals.

Went to Peachtree Corners Baptist Church this morning to set up my booth for the mission fair and to go to the briefing!



Worked out great!

Awesome to see my partners from the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North at the mission today!

Worked on my newsletters this morning. Every February edition I send with the newsletter a page that asks “Stay on the Team.” If I don’t hear back from them, they drop of the list. Saves time and money.

My friend Al Johnson came by to fix our furnace.

It can get mighty cold! The ignitor was broken. Al is a great guy who worked with me on my first major mission construction project back in 1999! Give him a call if you have heating or air conditioning problems.

He stressed the importance of changing the filters. Got more!

Also got a new binder for the hard copy of the newsletters while I was at Walmart.

Kathy and I took our bikes to the bike doctor. My rear wheel has a major bend in it.

They told me it wouldn’t be a problem to fix. I’m pulling for them!

Over to the mission to work with the kids. Always fun!

It was good to see Abraham and his big brother Andreas today. I remember when Andreas was the size of his little brother. I’ve always liked him.

Thanks to Suburban Rentals I have enough chairs at my mission. I told the boys to take several up to the laundrimat for the residents to sit on while they waited.

K and I ate a Mohosana’s home this evening. It was fun to see the family again.

She’s actually fasting during the day. She missed some days during Ramadan because of an illness. She’s making up for those missed days.
