Worked on a new podcast this morning!

Also worked out on weights. Feeling stronger every day!

Went shopping for the family groceries.

Then off to the mission to help the kids!

After working with the kids, we went to the church to check on what supplies I had for the outreach this weekend with 12 Stone Church.

We’ll be serving in six apartment complexes in Chamblee and in Lawrenceville.
Went back to Walmart to pick up the popcycles and other supplies.

Got home around 10pm this evening. Worked late so I can take a day off tomorrow! Awesome to rest!

Worked out like crazy! Biked about 7 miles and ran 4 miles. Felt great!

Then went into town to help Ashley get a new computer. Her old Mac finally gave up the ghost. Sad that she lost some information she needed. Most was backed up.

Always enjoy hanging out with my kids!

Then I went to go see David Byrne and St. Vincent play a show last night. Sounded great. It was awesome to get to see Byrne play again.

I loved the horns!

Talking Heads was always one of my favorite bands. He played some of their old music.

Fun day!

Had an interesting day today!

Incredible amounts of rain yesterday. More than 4″! We had a couple of small leaks in the house. Never good.

My right brake light was out. My sweet wife got it fixed for me early this morning. AWESOME!

Took care of getting my temporary bank card. Didn’t take TOO long. Amen to that!

Came home to work out on weights.

Went into Chamblee with K to pick up Jesse.

We went to go check out the GA Tech campus.

There are some neuroscience seminars coming up that we’re interested in.

It’s a cool place. Lots of brainy looking folks!

Back to the mission to work with the kids.

We cleaned out closets and gave away some books.

Had supper at Taco Veloz. I thought this logo was funny.

Watched Taken with Kathy this evening on TV. Liam’s new movie Taken 2 comes out soon.

Jesse and I went over to the club to work out. He ran nearly 4 miles and I did a little over 6 miles. Seeing that he’s not a runner, I was impressed! Afterwards we swam in the pool to cool down and then sat in the hot tub to warm up! Enjoyed a salad at their Starbucks.

After a short rest, we went to the mission to help the kids with their homework.

Poured down rain! We need it.

Got a call from my bank about some possible fraudulent debit card activity. Sure enough, this afternoon someone used my number to make a transaction in Mexico and in Paris. Weird, since the my card never left my billfold. So I have to get a new one tomorrow. Glad the computers can catch weird stuff.

Kathy, Jesse and I went to Clarkston International Bible Church this morning!

Pastor Phil preached on sickness and health. Good stuff!

They waxed all the floors in the children’s department where the Mommy and Me program is held. K is in charge of the 3 year olds.

I’m sure they’ll enjoy their clean surroundings!

Miles was still a bit sick. Ashley let him sleep in this morning. Good plan to speed healing! We enjoyed Indian food for lunch.

Came home to rest.

Rainy afternoon!

J and I went to Best Buy. I needed to exchange my keyboard, AGAIN! The new one works better!

We had fun watching 21 Jump Street this evening. Rough language but a pretty funny movie!

We had a fun day today for Miles’ birthday!

Our family and the Kendalls got together to enjoy some tasty Malaysian food at Penang!

Miles’ best friend James also came!

Then we went to Buford Highway Farmer’s Market to show their family a little piece of the wonders of the International Village!

Came home for a rest.

Then went for a 3 mile bike ride and ran 4 miles.

Good exercise!

Back to admin duties.

Went for a hard bike ride from my house to Stone Mountain.

Rode about 14 miles. My destination was the bird sanctuary.

Once I got there I ran the Meadow Loop twice, or two miles. Loved the wild flowers!


Got home in about 2 1/2 hours. Ate some salad and apples.

Then off to see Looper with Jesse and Kathy. We really liked it!

It was pouring rain when we got out. Got just a trace at our house.

Back home to fly my chopper and work on admin duties.

Ate lunch with Kathy. She’s got a bit of a sore throat and isn’t feeling well. Jesse and Miles are also under the weather. Pray for my sweet family!

Came home and worked out on weights. Been a while since I did that! Felt good.

Went to the mission with Kathy. Met Ashley and Jesse there. Fun group!

Jesse and I enjoyed having lunch with Kevin and Leandi from 12 Stone Church, one of my favorites!

We took them around the International Village and showed them the sites where we’ll be working. I think it’s really going to turn out GREAT! We’ll host 5 teams on October 6th.

Spent the rest of the day hanging out at the mission with Jesse. That’s always fun!

Jesse got his new phone today. The iPhone 5 is AWESOME! Mine comes in soon. That phone serves as my secretary, assistant, research intern . . . . the new processor makes it even faster. My kind of device.

Worked with the kids in the afternoon. Lots of projects going on now.

Had supper with Jesse then came on back to spend time with Kathy.

Worked on this month’s newsletter this morning.

I wrote about our recent scare with Mohosana being missing. Also printed up the labels for the envelopes.

Went to the Post Office to pick up stamps for the letters.

Enjoyed working at the mission with the kids!

They helped us do the labels!

We still need to add the letters to the envelopes.

Lots of homework!



I liked Jocelyn’s project for her book report.

Then I got them a treat!

Came home to enjoy time with Kathy and work on admin duties.
