Podcast! Run! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:41 pm

Had fun making a new podcast this morning.
p
One of my best efforts. It’s called “Lost and FOUND! It’s one of the most powerful episodes EVER! Just click on the title!

Here’s my recording studio!
r

After working my brain out for an hour, I went for a good 4 mile run around the neighborhood, which is very challenging. Did great!

Rested a bit, then went in to the International Village. I finished handing out the medical cards to some of the apartment managers in the area. I still have a small pile of cards in Portuguese that I need to send to my partners in Marietta where there are SO many Brazilians!

Had fun working with the kids. That’s always a good time!

Physical! Island! Outreach!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:51 pm

Wednesday morning I went for my annual physical.
t
Actually, it’s been two years . . . Results showed my sugar was a bit high and so was my cholesterol. I’ve been working hard on dieting and exercise. Told them that I wanted to work on that for three months and do more blood work to see if I still needed the meds.
h
Kathy finished up working with the toddlers in Clarkston and then we rode on down to Tybee Island for a few days of R&R! Always great to spend time with my sweety favorite.
k

b

The weather was really nice and we love it when there aren’t SO many people down there.

We did a lot of bike riding. Over 26 miles in two days!

Also went to Bonaventure Cemetery. I had fun working on my grave site. Weird, huh? Helps me to live with urgency when I think about a final resting place.

It’s at the base of those two big oak trees.

Near where Gracie is buried.

Behind these two.
t

Drove home Sunday and went straight to Azalea to check on Jesse. He’s doing well! Then over to Roswell to work with my partners from Roswell United Methodist Church at Frazier Street Apartments. Had a wonderful time with the Spanish house church there.

Mohosana FOUND!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:31 am

Just got word that they found Mohosana this morning at 5:38am! THANK YOU for praying for her!

Getting ready to go to the doctor for my physical.

Pray for Kathy and me as we have some alone time with each other this weekend!

Run! Azalea! Mohosana!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:06 pm

This morning I went for a three mile run! Worked out on the elliptical treadmill.
e
Finished the three miles in right at 20 minutes. That’s mighty quick for me.

Also burned two more dvds of the wedding video of Katie and Tommy and mailed them to their parents.
d

Went to Walmart to pick up some things for Jesse.
j

Went to the mission to help the kids with their homework.

It was busy as always, but one of the moms came in with a panic look in her face. “Have you seen Mohosana?” I told her that I hadn’t but I’m sure she was around.

We thought that perhaps she’d gotten on the wrong bus. Then one of the mom’s said she saw her walking home from school.

That’s the last anyone has seen her. Please pray that we will find Mohosana safe and sound. As you can imagine, it’s horrible for a parent to wonder if their child is ok.

The whole Bengali community is very worried.
b

Here’s a picture of Mohosana and me from last week at the mission.
m

Came home at about 11pm. K and felt there was nothing more we could do.

I’m planning on my annual physical tomorrow morning. Can’t say I’m looking forward to it, but it’s necessary!

Always been one of my favorite flags!
b

Are you smarter than a 4th grader?

K and I are planning a long weekend away from town after work tomorrow. We’re headed to the beach. Mohosana being lost is a crappy way to start a vacation.

CIBC! Run!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:49 pm

Kathy and I had a good time at church today at Clarkston International Bible Church.
c
Pastor Phil spoke on depression using Elijah as an example.
p
There are a lot of depressed people out there. That’s why I started working on www.VerbalSurgery.com, to help people feel GOOD, now!

Came home to rest and worked on admin duties.
t
Ran 3 miles. Sure am glad the weather is getting cooler.

Flew my drone around the yard. Always fun!

Seth! Bike! Kathy!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:20 pm

This morning I worked on an application for a seminar with one of my heroes: Seth Godin. He is offering a free symposium for leaders of non-profits, but there are only 15 slots available! So I filled in the form and made a 1 minute video.
Here it is!

I think this camera does a great job.
c

Think you’d invite me?

Had a good talk (in Espanol!) with Pastor Ernesto today. I’m looking forward to meeting with him later this month.

Great to chat with my Dad today, too! We had a good, long visit. I appreciated that!

Did some research about Tybee Island today. K and I thought we might spend a few days down there now that the Summer crowds (and rates!) are down.
t
Installed my new bike seat. Took longer than I thought to do it.
b
s

Did the grocery shopping. Always something we’re missing.

Enjoyed yogurt with K. Mango is a great flavor!

I thought this squirrel looked funny.

s

I liked this caterpillar.

Enjoyed a fun day with Jesse today! Never too much Jesse!

We had a good lunch at El Toreros before going to Walmart to pick up some supplies for the mission. We got J a few things too.

Back home to pick up sticks in the yard. Seems like we always need rain.

Enjoyed flying my drone around the yard. Good times.

Did the shopping and picked up medicine.

I saw this Darth Vader Potato Head at Walmart.
d

I feel a disturbance in the Force.

Barbara! Bayo! Bennett! Azalea!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:18 pm

I had a meeting with Barbara Cornutt about doing something special with the WMU and the mothers in the International Village.
b
Looks like something that might work out.

Also met with Bayo, Bennett and Kevin at CIBC.
c
We’re all involved in the ministry together.
b
Had lunch with the whole family and Bayo & Bennett. Great fun and food was shared.

Handed out some medical cards for a doctor friend of mine in Doraville.
f
Gives the resident discounted medical rates and prescriptions. Lots of sick babies and kids out there!

Picked up the power cables and some supplies for the mission.
