Nearly a 1/2″ of rain last night!

This morning I went outside and found sweet ol’ Sugar dog nestled with her pillow.

Cute!

Kathy and I met up with an enthusiastic team from New Hope Baptist Church of Fayetteville.

I had a briefing with them, then took them to the Buford Highway Farmers market.

We also went to Plaza Fiesta to eat lunch. Always unusual things to see!

Then over to Azalea to work with the kids at the mission.

Good times!

Came home and ran 2.25 miles. Saw some nice flowers while I was out.


Enjoyed watching Bad Teacher with Kathy. Not a great movie.

Saw this sticker this morning in the parking lot.

Got a package to Jesse in the mail.

Got a new battery for my lavalier mic. I saw this while I was at Walgreens. Really? A toothbrush?

Our treasurer Jon Paul came by to see us today. He’s looking great! Keep praying for his wife Linda.

Enjoyed the afternoon with Kathy.

Put on our new Stone Mountain stickers.

Fixed a couple of clocks around the house.

Worked on editing video.

Admin duties! And watching Psych on video with K.

I enjoyed taking Tammy and Ashlyn Braden on a tour of the International Village today.

I showed the some of my favorite places including the Buford Highway Farmer’s Market, CD Tower and Plaza Fiesta.

While I was waiting to go through a light, a young Chinese woman rammed into the back of my car. I wasn’t holding the brake down hard so nothing was damaged. Guess she just didn’t know how to do the brake. She couldn’t speak English at all. The lady in the passenger seat did all the talking. Bizzare. No one was injured.

We also visited with Ruthie North. Good fun!

Ashley came to help me at the mission with the kids. Miles really helped us last week when the mission got flooded.

Been working on converting the video I shot at the conference in Nevada.

Admin duties.

I had a wonderful time in Nevada last week with my friends from California and England and especially with JESSE! It was awesome to spend time with all those guys!

Got back early this morning.

Kathy went with me this afternoon to McDonough, GA. I spoke at Sharon BC.

It was a fun group!

They’ll be coming to work with us in about a month.

Still processing the images and videos I shot from the conference I spoke at. Fun!

Had a fun day taking my team around the International Village!

We started out at Al Madina. It’s a great place to get a feel for the Muslim culture.

Then over to Global Mall to learn more about Hinduism and Asia.

The kids did a wonderful job at the mission on their service projects. The curbing looks AWESOME.

They did a splendid job with the kids too!

Enjoyed my evening with Kathy. We had a delicious pizza.

Then admin duties.

Still need to put the finishing touches on my packing for my trip tomorrow. REALLY looking forward to hanging out with Jesse and my friends from England and California!

Probably won’t be able to blog till I get back next Wednesday.

I had a fun time with my team today!

Took them on a tour of Phuc Loc Tho where Buddhist buy their idols.

Also went to the Chinese Pharmacy and Carneceria #1.

Had lunch on Vietnamese sandwiches. I loved them. Not a huge hit with all the kids however. C’est la vie, baby!

They did an amazing job on the service project at Azalea. They did a LOT of work!

Then over to the missions to work with the kids.

Ashley and I also helped the kids with their homework.

GREAT day!

Had a new team in town today! An enthusiastic group of Middle School students from FBC Pelham, AL, did an AMAZING job today!

We enjoyed looking around the Buford Highway Farmers Market. Always groovy!

Then on to two service projects. Picked up some extra supplies for the projects. They used up all 100 trash bags today!

Painting the median at Azalea Place.

And picking up trash behind Shallowford Pines apartments.

They did a wonderful job with the kids at Huntington Terraces, Pearl Lane and Azalea Place.



Ashley and I also helped the kids with their homework.

Came home and did the grocery shopping.

Admin duties now! Yeah, baby!

Kathy and I had a fun time with the congregation from FBC Hapeville.

They were a good group!

The organ was absolutely fantastic. They said a German company installed it just so they could show other venues their instruments. The organist played a Bach fugue that was amazing!

Enjoyed seeing Bob Wiley again. We worked together in apartment ministry.

After a delicious lunch, we came on home.

I liked this Spitfire plane they had at the restaurant.

I was going to rest, but started working on my Verbal Surgery CD project. Pretty much have it completed now.

I love doing art projects.

I saw this bike at the church this morning. He rides over 20 miles one way.

Had a fun day with my sweet Kathy today!

Enjoyed lunch together. I liked these desserts.

But we didn’t eat any of them.

Then over to the zoo!

Spring trees, baby!

I talked with my friend Jay Noblezada in San Diego last night. He encouraged me to put a CD together of the best of my 141 episodes of Verbal Surgery. So I did!

Here’s the best 20 of my last two years of work. At least Volume One!

Up LATE last night talking with one of my new best friends, Jay Noblezada! We have similar interests in motivation, brain science, hypnosis and language patters. Last night we recorded a podcast talking about Verbal Surgery. He convinced me to bring some CDs with me that people could buy.

So part of my job this morning was to go through the 141 episodes that I have and pick out the best. I think I can get 20 episodes on 1 cd.

Also filled out more tax form paperwork. I’ve got it figured out how to scan a paper, make a PDF and then email it to someone else. Who has fax machines? Although I have a program that can fax a document from email. Living in the future, baby!

Then went down to Chamblee to check on my team from Texas Southern.


They’re doing a great job with the kids from Shallowford Gardens.

Back home now to finish up admin duties and work on the packaging for the Verbal Surgery CD.
