Raccoons pulled the lid off of my garbage can. Still can’t figure out how they did it. The rain ruined the dog food but I managed to dry out the birdseed.
Came in second place in the Duolingo leagues last week. I’m nearly at a major milestone!
I was in contact with the team leader from FBC Trussville. They are making some flyers for these locations.
Spent time making sure that all of my health insurance pieces were in place. They were.
Good talk with my Mom today. The move to Atlanta will happen soon, but the exact date is dependent on many variables. We are still shooting for June 5th, but we may have to adapt to our friend’s schedule which could set that date back a couple of weeks. The Father has his timing with all of this.
Great to see the girls. Penelope has her Dr. Seuss performance this Thursday. She has practice M/T/W.
I put a screen protector on Everly and Penelope’s iPhones. The one I did for P didn’t turn out right and unfortunately she got pretty upset. I have more on the way to replace it.
Picked up Penelope at Huntley Hills. Took her to Mcdonalds and I deposited checks that had come in.
Helped the kids at the mission. Surprised there was any homework. 1st graders had a lot.
Enjoyed hearing Everly play guitar.
Beautiful. Can you see how it repeats the pattern in the lower section?
Got gas and checked the oil in the Honda.
I’ll come in first place this week.
I’ve been talking to K’s sister Ann about getting some things done. One of them is banking.

Woke up with my bed shaking. I reached over and felt the mattress vibrating. Weird. Turned out to be a 3.8 magnitude earthquake at the border of Tennessee and N. Carolina.
Don Cheto!
Cool and drizzly day.

Talked with one of the apartment managers about food banks and flyers for the team coming soon.
Good chat with Jon about the housing allowance situation with our payroll company. I now have the information that Paychex needs in order to do my checks properly.
Mailed the bill in for K’s medicare.
Recorded and released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Stability Instability.”
Got some new sunglasses. Not sure what happened to my old ones.

I ordered a new bank card for Whirlwind. Our card isn’t working great.
I’ll come in second place this week.

Ordered some new reading glasses. Not sure what happened to my sunglasses. Hope they turn up. May have left them somewhere on Tybee Island which is not like me.
I heard back from Lamar who is my tax guy. I sent Jon the information I got from him. We need to contact Paychex which Jon normally does.
Got in touch with the team leader from First Baptist Atlanta.

Got more USB to USB C cables.
Replaced the screen protector for K’s phone.
Did the laundry.
Paid K’s insurance.
Brought home Thai food.
Lovely day. I spent most of it resting.
Keep going.

We had a good trip back to Atlanta! K had a stomach problem. We had to stop several times on the way home. It was great to have the whole family together.
We ate at Clary’s for breakfast. It was delicious. We were too full to get dessert. Sure looked good.
We got caught in a really heavy thunderstorm, but it was short lived.
Got gas and added .75 Qt.
Swallow’s nest at a rest area we went to.
GREAT to have such a loving family. The girls were fantastic. K and J had a lot of fun with them too. Ashley and Miles were so happy to see the kids back!
I got up around 7:00 to study. Just keep going.

One of the hardest jobs of vacation is trying to figure out what to eat.

Study and then pool time.
Sunrise for breakfast. Every morning. Not many options.
I upgraded my cell plan. Not enough data.
Sent an idea to the youth director bringing the big team end of this month.
PE and I went on a bike Safari to the North end of Tybee Island. Artsy fun. Great banana nut muffin at Tybean. Love the shark head. We got a couple of cool t-shirts for $5 each.
We got surrounded by rain. I knew it was coming and we were under shelter when it hit, but we got a little wet on the way back home.
We had fun visiting all the little shops in the area.
Spanky’s for friend vegetables. Like my coloring?
Groovy tiki art.
Good food with our sweet angels.
Sugar Shack for ice cream.
Keep going.

We went swimming in the ocean. I saw a dead jelly fish on the shore. While I was in the water I saw one that was swimming. I made us all get out. If they got stung I’d never forgive myself. We enjoyed the pool instead.
How does someone get a sunburn like this? Bizarre.
We rode our bikes to the Lighthouse. They did great on the bikes! We made it half way up the lighthouse, then it got too scary for the girls. I wasn’t surprised, it’s very intense. They had fun at the gift shop. They still had a $25 credit for helping me for hours with the monkey grass project.
We thought this was interesting.
Tybee Island museum was cool.
Love this place.
Then ice cream at the Sugar Shack. It’s an ice cream and candy place now. K and I went there for nearly 40 years for breakfast. Miss it. We still liked the ice cream!
We went to the Southern tip of the island on our bike ride.
I liked this.
Keep going. Harder when I’m on vacation and taking care of everyone.
