This was the first time that many of the adults had ever been on any type of mission experience. They did a great job.!

Came home now to rest and work on admin duties.

I talked with my Mom this morning. She’ll have her surgery on Thursday morning. The doctor is still optimistic that he’ll be able to just remove the lump from her breast. They will also check the lymph glands and if they find anything there, they will also remove those. He doesn’t think that will be necessary, however. THANKS for praying for my Mom!!

Further proof that Atlanta has the world’s busiest airport!

Beats dieting?

Not sure how to take this.

They were a lively and receptive group. I especially like this church because they come to Azalea regularly to work with my kids. Glad for that!

Went to Walmart on the way home to pick up some extra supplies. I still don’t really know how many people are going to show up tomorrow.

Got home after 11pm. Long week and long days for Mr. Tim. Checked my travel log this evening. I’ve worked 21 days straight so far. No end in sight. Pray that I’ll be able to keep my strength up.

The crows like the suet I put on the tree.

Feeling kinda tired and worn out this evening. I need to rest my voice as I preach to the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church on Friday, we have an outreach on Saturday and I preach at their church again on Sunday!

Then here comes Monday and we start over! We don’t have a team coming until Friday, so we have a few days to prepare for the next group!

Got a great report from my Mom today! Sounds like the cancer is very localized and that the doctor thinks they’ll be able to do a lumpectomy and that it will only be a day surgery! Praise the Lord for that great report!

I stopped by my office on the way home. I was interviewed for the radio by my friend Mark Edge who is the co-host of the very popular podcast and live radio show “Free Talk Live.”

v
We had a good time talking about my podcast Verbal Surgery. I recently recorded my 200th episode! Nearly to 40,000 downloads of my show. Yow! Check it out at www.VerbalSurgery.com/podcasts or from iTunes in the Self Help section.

Home now to work on admin duties and rest.

We host a team from Shirley Hills Baptist Church tomorrow morning.

I had a good talk with my Mom about her news. She had a biopsy done that came back with cancer cells. She seems quite upbeat about the treatment options. Pray for my family as we face this challenge together.

Podcasts are a fun outlet for my desire to TALK!

I really like this episode.“Intention Tension!” What you desire to happen, your intention, determines where you go and how fast you get there.

Keith! Chicken! Car! Tree! Run!

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:38 pm

Had a long discussion with my partner Keith Harrell about a mission in Norcross where we’ve had work for years. The manager wants some changes and has asked me to implement them. There’s still work going on there and any change is hard for people to accept. Pray for that.

Paid bills. Ouch.
b

Vacuumed the house.
v

Went to lunch with Ashley and Miles, K and J! Always fun!
t
m

Picked up some vitamins. Yeah, baby!
v

Met them at the bank where we were depositing checks. Took her to the Shell station to fill up the “Red Pony.” Her little mustang.
g
Picked up my car.
c
Believe it or not it STILL pulls to the left. They don’t know why. They just say it does. They swear the alignment is perfect now. Bizarre and not happy times.

Had a meeting with the tree guys. They want $400 to cut that tree up and haul it off. Shocked me. I’ll keep looking around.

Went for a 2.5 mile run.
t
Walked part of it. My knees were hurting. Usually does that when I get back into running after a break.

This reminded me of me.
f

I saw these stickers and it reminded me of my ultra-runner brother Ian North. He ran 27 miles in his last race. WOW!
b
Resting now and working on admin duties.

Kathy said her jaw is hurting her. She want’s me to go get her some clove oil. We’ll see what happens. Picked up some meds for her.

I thought these clouds looked cool.
c
o
Haven’t seen this bumper sticker before!

Car! Tree! Run!

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:36 pm

Errand day today!
t
The alignment in my car is off. Pulls to the left. Finally had a chance to take it to Goodyear. It was there for five hours. Just picked it up. Still pulls to the left. : ( It’s covered by their warranty, but one more thing to do doesn’t make me a happy camper.
w
Also called some tree companies. You may remember that I had a big tree fall in my back yard. I need someone to cut it up and clear it out of there. I could cut it with my chainsaw, but I’d still be stuck as to where to put this massive amount of wood. They’ll come by tomorrow to take a look and give me a price estimate.

Went to lunch with Jesse and Kathy today. Always good!

Called the hospital. They’re supposed to reimburse me some money. Over $1,000! So I’ve been following up with them. They tell me it’s supposed to be coming back to me soon. We’ll see.

Sugar and I went for a 2.61 mile run today.
t
s
I’m glad that the weather is getting better. I certainly need to exercise! Seems to me there’s a direct correlation between bad weather and tight pants!

Love these tulip trees. The cold hurt them. Sorry about that.
t
t

My Mom had a procedure done in Georgetown this morning. She did well. She’ll get results next week. Pray for her health and a good report from the doctors.

Good day, but I’m still frustrated about my car.

Tim A. Cummins @ 1:14 am

Enjoyed a fun lunch with my family! Excellent!
j
a

Did some great work with Ashley today! We did a recon on the missions where our team from FBC Naples, Florida will be working.
m

Talked with the managers and went around the route that the big bus will be taking to drop the teams off.
m

It’s important to make sure that the bus can make the turns.
a
They have a hard time with right turns in particular.
rf

Went home to pick up Kathy. Then to Jonesboro to speak to the college and singles there at the Cafe at Main Street. Great group!
c
They never changed the sign.

Had fun sharing my African Prodigal Son story.
t
g
g

f

The group will be coming to work with us over the weekend soon!
m

Fun and productive day!

Admin duties now. K and I enjoyed watching Psych.

These doughnuts looked gross to me. Moldy green color. REally?
mk

I liked this.
s

I saw this on the door going to a restroom today. Can’t say they didn’t warn me.
p

I remember when I was in high school when this was just in the low millions!
