Ashley and I had an early morning and a fun day! We were mobile displays dressed in our Bengali outfits.

We arrived at Perimeter Church in Duluth right at 8:30am.

Set up our display and had a quick breakfast.

It’s always fun for us to meet new friends.

And say “Howdy!” to old ones!

Ashley had developed some new flyers for the folks to see.

Filled up and cleaned my three hummingbird feeders.
Great day!

Had fun working on a new podcast this morning!

It’s on the importance of touch, not just the physical kind. “Touch PLUS!” Click on the title and groove!

Ate lunch with the “Doverspike” clan. Bill and Debra, Ruth and David, Paul and Mona and K and I went to the brand new Golden Corral in Decatur. It was great to see my friends again.

Came home and mowed the yard. Pretty hard work for an hour or so. Lots of gas fumes and dust made it not zesty.

Better now.
Ate supper with Jesse and K. The Altima has a vibration in the front end. Could be an axle issue. J is staying home and not driving it until Monday morning when we can take it to the mechanics. Better to be safe than sorry.

Early morning tomorrow. I need to be at Perimeter Church with Ashley at around 8:30am.
I thought these water patterns were beautiful.

I’ve noticed that several avocado seeds have sprouted.

Know what this plant is? Answer at the bottom!

Had a fun day with Jesse today!

We ate Greek food together. J drove. He’s doing great with the stick shift although there’s a vibration we’re feeling in the front right wheel. We’ll get it looked into on Monday when my mechanics are open.

He helped me get Sugar inside the house before we left.
Enjoyed resting this afternoon.
Then went for a 5.11 mile run as it turned dark.

I thought the clouds were beautiful.

Two planets.

Got pretty dark in some areas.

It was a beautiful and surprisingly easy run.
Home now to work on admin duties.
The plant is a mango!

I enjoyed an informative lunch with my friend Rob Martin today. Ashley joined us too!

After lunch, we delivered some pictures that Ashley had made for the apartment managers.

Always good to see them.
We also discussed the packaging we’re planning for getting the word out to large churches about our ministry and the chance for them to come to work with us in the summer.
I plan to include a dvd with a short video about what we’re doing to the youth directors. Ash and I tried out different backgrounds for the video we’ll shoot.

We weren’t satisfied with my office. We think we’ll do it with the zebra skin as the background.
Spent a bit of time at Biggar’s Antiques in Chamblee. I love places like this.

Had a great group of kids this afternoon at the mission!

Always fun.
Home now for admin duties.
K and I enjoyed watching the new episode of Duck Dynasty. That show cracks me up.
What?!

Beauty!

I worked on my Verbal Surgery site this morning.

I’d recorded about 20 episodes of the podcast and have them on iTunes and my server, but not on the website. So I put links to the shows in one spot.

Enjoyed lunch with Kathy and Ashley. The girls had gone to a Women on Mission meeting that morning. Good to spend time with them!
I liked this motorcycle in the parking lot.

J and I met Ashley at the mission. Plenty to keep us busy!

We had some help from my friends at the Atlanta Chinese Christian Church North.

J got a futon for the mission. The company sent one of the four legs with a smaller screw than the other three. Bizarre. I got some Teflon tape to wrap it. Hopefully that will work.

Watched Ellen and Duck Dynasty with K.
Be prepared.

I thought this cloud was beautiful.

Kathy and I went to the first day of the Stone Mill Church of Atlanta this morning!

Tito is the pastor of the church. We go back more than a decade.

I always love to be around the family!

Enjoyed supper at Ashley and Miles’ house. They are both GREAT cooks!

I didn’t see how this could work.

I thought this bark was interesting.

I liked this flower from the community garden.

Beauty!

Had a fun, restful day today!
Jesse practiced driving the Altima this afternoon. It isn’t easy learning a stick shift in Atlanta!
Had fun flying my AR Drone 2.0. Here’s the course I fly around.

Picked up sticks in the back yard.

Enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader show with Kathy.

I liked this spider web.

And this mushroom that was covered with wood shavings.

Kathy and I went with Jesse to the doctor this morning. He’s doing great!

Had lunch together.
Picked up the Altima from T&G. They had to take the oil pan out, beat it back into shape and put a new oil sensor in it. Cost us about $300. Could have been WAY worse, especially if the car had hit other cars.
Came home to work on the mail box that the guy who stole our car ran into.
Dug the hole.

Took the mail box off the old post and cleaned it.

Put it on the new post.

Put the new post in the hole and started filling it slowly with concrete.

Looks good. Our postman gave it the thumbs up!

Brief rest then went to Azalea to work with the kids.

Home for admin duties. Watched the new Duck Dynasty with K. Always good!
These little red mushrooms were cool.

Does this mean they’re easier to hit?
