Nearly 1 1/2″ of rain last night.

K and I enjoyed going to Westside Baptist Church this morning.

Pastor Ben spoke on tithing. It was his 25th anniversary today. Wow.

Came home to rest.

Went for a 5.09 mile run.

Always something interesting to see!

K and I started watching Upstairs Downstairs. Since Ashley and Jesse gave us the PS4, we’ve enjoyed watching streaming movies on Amazon and Netflix. We finished watching the last of Season 4 of Downton Abbey.

Dreary weather. Good for mushrooms!

Ate a sandwich for lunch. Enjoyed reading the December issue of Wired. I liked the phrase “eye-hiking.”

Did some shopping.

Walmart had some big poinsettias for $2.80. I got four of them. Beauty color during the winter.

Organized my vitamins.

Paid some bills.

Enjoyed watching Downton Abbey with K this evening.

K is feeling better today. Her voice is a lot better.

Sad day. A friend of mine from my childhood days in Kenya was buried this afternoon. The Jones family are some wonderful people and I’m praying for them after Andy’s death. K wasn’t feeling well, so we didn’t make the trip to the funeral. I didn’t see the point of getting other people sick.

Drizzly weather today in the 40s.

Went out for a 5.01 mile run when I thought the rain was letting up. Got about a half mile into the run and continued a steady drizzle. Not the best conditions for a run. I didn’t even take a camera.

Paid for the car maintenance. Oil change and headlight was out. Also cleared some codes on the engine light. T & G has taken good care of us.

Rested. Played some video games. Watched an episode of Downton Abbey with K. Later this evening watched the UK series Sherlock with K. She’s been running a low fever and coughing up green phlegm. Doctor put her on antibiotics this afternoon. She’s been resting a lot.

Wednesday was a great time for an end of the year run. I went 5.08 miles. Always something interesting to see.
